Download many links from a website easily.
Do you want to download a bunch of PDFs, podcasts, or other files from a website and not right-click-"Save-as" every single one of them? Batch Link Downloader solves this problem for you!
Batch Link Downloader is a DownThemAll! alternative for Chrome.
Go to Chrome Preferences ("chrome://settings/"), "Advanced", and disable "Ask where to save each file before downloading" to avoid popups for every file.
This is the first release. Feedback and even feature requests are very welcome. Use the feedback form in the Chrome Web Store (Support → Tell the Developer) or send an email to [email protected]

- (2025-07-12) Stardust Projects: Fantastic extension, one of the best I have in Chrome, helps with all productivity tasks
- (2025-03-04) Nandy “Nandybear” Bear: This worked flawlessly for me and helped me collect podcasts for offline listening because I work in an area that only allows air gapped devices. There is also another extension called "all links downloader" which is a 1 for 1 rip off of this, and charges. Seems like straight up theft (unless you sold it them, then ignore)
- (2024-12-31) Jeffrey Hall: This thing redirects my searches. I keep it switched off unless I need to use it. It does work for grabbing multiple files.
- (2024-12-20) VoN: amongst the other out there this worked the best
- (2024-12-19) Siva Tech: It's working just wow! I downloaded 50 pdf files in 1 click
- (2024-12-08) Suvodeep Pyne: Nice interface. downloaded 100 files in 1 click. awesome!
- (2024-10-24) Matt S: Works, but only gets links from the current page. I use a different extension to grab all links and then filter out the ones I don't need. It creates a separate tab with links but this extension didn't detect any when I tried so I had to go directly to the site for this extension to work. If I could manually paste those links into the list of this extension, it would be perfect.
- (2024-10-23) Paul Frischknecht: works as intended
- (2024-10-01) Hyder Raza: To those who wrote that there is no "Select All" button; there is a way to do it. In order to do that, do you have to be someone from the DOS era of the early '80s; well I am proud to be from that era, and therefore, I know how to do it even if there is no button that specifically tells you how to SELECT ALL. HINT: *.*
- (2024-09-23) Kris Schneider: Needs a "select all" button, "add by filename extension" doesn't seem to work
- (2024-07-25) Semih ÖZALTIN: Very useful. Many thanks
- (2024-07-03) Harc The Shark: Perfection.
- (2024-06-12) Gollan Raouf: I LOVE this extention! didn't know this existed until I found it through a google search on how to batch download pdf files from a website. The first time I also searched for a 'Select all' button, but then I selected 2 or 3 files and then clicked on 'Add by filename pattern' and then all the 73 pdf files that I wanted to download were selected. After hitting download the job was done in just 5 seconds!! 73 pdf files downloaded in only 5 seconds.. I didn't have to click OK everytime like Jerrel Williams states in his feedback. If you have that problem, follow the instructions written above, it says: "Go to Chrome Preferences ("chrome://settings/"), "Advanced", and disable "Ask where to save each file before downloading" to avoid popups for every file." Thank you dear developper of this extention for making my life easier today! :)
- (2024-06-10) Syafiq Sulaiman: It would have been perfect if there was a "SELECT ALL" button that could tick all the boxes. Perhaps the developer could consider this for the next update? Thanks
- (2024-06-07) Right On Track: "Download multiple links from a website easily" = that is incorrect. It displays a pop-up window on EVERY file that gets downloaded, where you must manually click the "okay" button every time. So if there's a certain website with 200 links on the same page, you'll still have to click your mouse button 200 times. Fail.
- (2024-06-05) Jerrell Williams: Selected the 2 PDFs. Extension just downloaded a website that when opened was blank.
- (2024-06-04) My Web Duties: What is the point of this extension if you have to open a webpage (downloading data)? I can as well download straight from the page.
- (2024-05-28) L G: Easy to use, allowed me to download PDFs from bank website without a problem (using chrome under MacOS Sonoma), instead of 3 at a time (clicking on an ugly icon) , saving me from tedious work. I used the filter ".pdf" option and clicked on download. Each file opens a system prompt and it's just a matter of clicking on the OS button. Would have been wonderful if it auto-clicked but that's not a scraper so it's fine. Thanks!
- (2024-05-05) M: Worked like a charm. Couldn't recommend this more, saved me hours and hours of work. Thank you!
- (2024-04-22) Charity McLean: doesnt work
- (2024-04-06) Sam Nordberg: Worked. Let me quickly download ~200 links to HTML pages from an index page. Downloaded them in plain HTML format individually. I was worried it would stop if I left the tab or minimized Chrome, but it kept downloading in the background and I could return to the tab, tap the extension icon, and see the progress status continuing. Nice work. Took about ~8 minutes in total since it downloads in sequence. That's probably a good thing to ensure my IP doesn't get blocked by the host site.
- (2024-04-06) Manuel Crepin: This extension DOES grab PDFs from links. Saved me a lot of time, thanks! A select all button would be cool, but shift-selecting works too.
- (2024-03-28) Stacy Casebeer: This extension does NOT grab PDF's from links. It merely copies the page to an HTML file.
- (2024-03-27) Michael Kent: Would be a lot better if you have a select all button. Try downloading several hundred photos from links, you gotta click each box separately
- (2024-03-26) Hélio: Great and easy!
- (2024-03-22) Jovelyn Marimon: Why the type of files when downloading is html doc instead of pdf's? somebody help me
- (2024-03-03) Montassar DRIDI: So Perfect <3 It does what it was made for. I was able to download 2000 files from the university's moodle in one click. I totally recommend.
- (2024-02-08) Given Kibanza: Great app! I used this app back when i was doing High School. I'd download multiple exam papers and resources from school websites and then use that to study. I performed well in my final exams 2018. And here i am, back again. Having had gone through Uni, emerged a Software Engineer and using the extension again to download the same resources but this time because i need them for an app i'm working on to help school students prepare better for examinations. Full Circle Moment! Thank you Batch Link Downloader. 💓
- (2024-02-08) Bailey Goodwin: Awesome! Just what I needed - saved me hours of time! Downloaded 3600 PDFs in 10 minutes!
- (2024-01-11) Lila Hanft: Just what I needed -- I had a page full of pdf links I had to download -- 144 of them! And this saved so much time.
- (2023-12-12) Prakashraj IT Support: Superb app
- (2023-11-20) The_Pariah: It works, though it's in desperate need of some kind of "options" setting. @Computer CSE How are you gonna have a name like that and then make such a ridiculous claim? Click top item, scroll to bottom, hold shift+click last one. OMG they're automagically all highlighted! It's pretty sad when someone who has CSE in their name doesn't know the basics of controlling a computer. Shift+click is a basic function of any operating system. Same with ctrl+click. Maybe change that username to "Computer novice who aspires to be a CSE someday" and then change your rating from 1 star to something that's more fair and isn't a rating based on your own lack of knowledge.
