  • (2025-08-22) Sagabundo mub: First line on top of the browser should be the address bar not all the tabs. I don't want a shortcut to horizontal tabs. Seems that Firefox is way ahead of Chrome.
  • (2025-08-21) Florian Trippel: Really good. Exactly what I was looking for. Very happy, thanks.
  • (2025-08-20) Hector Ayala: The sidebar is too wide for smaller screens, it needs a lower minimum size (or none as all).
  • (2025-08-17) YUCHAM08 (Yuchan): I'm satisfied with the functionality. However, I'd like to request a change in the specifications regarding the GPU memory usage shown in the task manager when both of the following are true: * **Graphic acceleration** is turned off in Chrome's options. * The **--disable-gpu** launch option is added to Chrome.
  • (2025-08-13) Am Mad: "Vertical Tabs in Side Panel" is the fastest Vertical Tabs I've ever tried, with over 1000 tabs it's still fast. Please add an option to disable scroll to active tab after drag drop a tab.
  • (2025-08-12) mokka herrman: Why on earth would you include an animation for opening the side-bar and not make it optional? My browser window starts shaking when I open this; I really don't know why everyone loves making their life harder...
  • (2025-08-06) Omid Nik: very handy tool to keep hundreds of tabs in one window and manage them on the side in separate groups, its a nice workflow problem is , it closes a tab if double clicked on it , which is very frustrating . !! also , after a week use, noticed chrome doenst put any tabs to unused anymore, I suspect this extension has somethign to do with it !!! I wish it had a feature to put all the tabs outside of group to a new group , would make the experience even better
  • (2025-08-05) Artemi Lebedev: Great! But only for current window(
  • (2025-08-02) Евгений: very convenient plugin! is it possible to make the tab window narrower?
  • (2025-07-25) Francisco Antonio Carrara Strina: I noticed that the option to change the sidebar position (left or right) via [Browser Settings → Appearance → Side panel] does not seem to work in the Comet browser, or at least isn’t visible in my setup. This may be a limitation outside the extension’s control, but it’s worth noting for users of alternative Chromium browsers. A clearer explanation or a workaround within the extension’s interface would improve the overall experience.
  • (2025-06-30) Tioman Island: beautiful and useful but it takes 1/4 of the screen because the column cannot be more narrow. i dont understand why the programmer didn't allow to make it narrow, like you can do in Edge. Just because of this it is not really useful on my screen (24 inch).
  • (2025-06-30) Kiel Enrique: Works as advertised. But the width of the panel is too wide. I'd prefer if I could make it smaller. Thanks.
  • (2025-06-28) Maera Envision: Works flawlessly! I'm able to organize group tabs into each category such as Gmail, YouTube, NSFW, etc.
  • (2025-06-16) Jack Lee: Pros: * It works. I can see the tab title which is great when I have many tabs open. * I can adjust the width, allowing me to see the full tab title. Cons: * It doesn't show /closed/ tab groups, only those on the standard horizontal tab bar. * Speaking of the standard tab bar I have no idea how to hide it so I'm essentially seeing the same tabs twice.
  • (2025-06-09) Andrew Lee: Everything is good, but the fatal problem is that Chrome's vertical tabs still can't be resized. Edge and Brave officially allow to resize vertical tabs, but Chrome doesn't allow any vertical tab extensions to resize them. Is this because of Chrome's own policy? It's quite fatal for users with small monitor screens.
  • (2025-06-05) Amit Ben: Brilliant and useful - I would only ask to be able to change the background color as the pure white/black doesn't work with the rest of the browser color. so either match the active theme or just let me pick a color hex values.
  • (2025-05-06) Johannes Hofer: I think I tried "Vertical Tabs in Side Panel" when I was looking for that functionality, but overlooked that you can set left/right position at the time. This is just great. Finally i can have even more thabs open that i might need later on hehe ;) Edit: you can set side pannel position in the browser itself... -.-
  • (2025-03-31) Chris Schanck: Almost great, but no "Move tab to new group" option is a killer.
  • (2025-03-28) Waleed Kh: Feature request: Sort tabs by website/domain.
  • (2025-03-25) Jimmy Cheng: Mostly good. But the double-click leading tag close is annoying. I experienced multiple times of accident double click and it turned off the page, which makes my writing work disperaring! I cried.
  • (2025-03-23) Melvyn Mildiner: I love this tool and it's one of the key parts of my productivity system. Thank you. The only thing that would make it better would be if "Pinned" tabs could be icon only, as they are in the native tab bar.
  • (2025-03-14) Shazzad Bin Alam: works right away
  • (2025-03-10) Julius Gustafsson: Can't have any keybind I want
  • (2025-03-09) Daigoro Toyama (daihard): This is a pretty useful extension. I like how it supports dark themes as well. What I miss is the feature to place the vertical tabs on the left-hand side. I'm lefty and would find the vtabs easier to access if the sidebar was on the left side.
  • (2025-03-06) Yates: This plugin is absolutely fantastic and has already met 90% of my needs—I'm truly satisfied with its functionality! However, I have a small optimization suggestion that I believe could further enhance the plugin. It would be great to have a feature that allows sorting and categorizing by domain, so related tags can be grouped together automatically. This would make navigation and organization even more convenient and efficient. I’m confident this addition would take the user experience to the next level! Thank you so much for your hard work on this plugin, and I look forward to seeing its continued improvement!
  • (2025-03-06) Dmitry Komarov: When I move tab between groups the scrolling position of sidepanel "jumps" up. No "Move tab to group..." selector menu item.
  • (2025-02-21) Tomáš Matúšek: Absolutely perfect extension to organize your tabs. You can categorize them with title and colors so I just love it!
  • (2025-02-09) Craig Williams: A very professional looking vertical tab manager. But the default width is fixed and it far to wide for me. Needs an option to let the the user control the width to a smaller size of their choice. PS - Shame on Google for leaving out a critical component all the other browsers offer.
  • (2025-02-03) Lenny Bool: Just awesome!
  • (2025-01-29) Russ Abbott: The tabs and tab groups at the top of the browser are still visible. So now they are visible both at the top and and at the side. How do I get rid of the copies at the top?
  • (2025-01-28) Olavi Murto: Edited Nov. 2024 FINALLY! YES! I've been been looking for a proper tab list extension for ages, tested like 12 different ones and this is by far the best I've tried. I'd donate a few bucks if that was possible. Design is awesome. Idk how you managed to have it as a proper side panel when no one else has done that with these. Dark mode works and the color of the top bar extends smoothly so this looks like it was a part of Chrome. Always opens scrolled to your current tab which is great, and opens really fast. Also very useful options in the right-click menu such as "New tab to the right" and "Duplicate" "Mute" and "Reload" Only a couple things / improvement suggestions 1. [FIXED? KINDA?] Moving tabs was janky, but the hold and hover area in the top and bottom seem to be bigger now so it works better. Unfortunately still can't hold a tab and scroll at the same time. 2. Can you make the search bar selected when you open the list, and stay selected? I've used the extension "List opened tabs" which had this feature, very useful. If not, maybe move the search bar to the top so it's more reachable? 3. [FIXED 2024 Q4?] Middle click to close tabs didn't work. Now it seems to work. 4. If you use chrome://flags/#overlay-scrollbars the X button will be hidden under it. Had to change to chrome://flags/#fluent-scrollbars which isn't as nice but works with this extension. 5. [Edited] Hovering over a tab title will bring up a pop-up, but it just shows the title again. Maybe make it show the URL too? 6. [Added] When right clicking a tab there are multiple actions available, but a couple are missing. There is no Add tab to group (existing). There is only Add tab to new group. Also, there is only Move tab to new window, no Move tab to another window (existing). I presume there might be a limitation that Chrome doesn't give all the info to the extension, but it must at least give the info on tab groups in THAT window, since they're shown in the list, right? So if Chrome only gives that data, maybe only list those ones in your current window as the options for the tab group thing? 7. [ADDED 2025, BIGGEST ISSUE NOW] If you close a tab, the list will jump to a position where the tab you're in will be as close to the middle of your vertical space as possible. This makes it VERY difficult to close multiple tabs in succession. You might middle-click to close some incorrect tabs, which you will then have to reopen from history>recent tabs, or with the hotkey ctrl+shift+T. And if you're in a tab group those tabs won't open in the same location, but the end of the group, which is a Chrome issue, but this issue in the extension brings it up a lot for me. Windows 10 / Google Chrome
  • (2025-01-09) Mustafa Başar: It is an awesome chrome extension!
  • (2024-12-28) DS Studios: Nice it works but one issue. When you have the button for it pinned, if you want to quickly open and close it that way it takes more focus. Cause it adds a "close side panel" pin when it opens, which shifts the others, when in reality, you can just click the same button you used to open it to also close it. Maybe remove this close pin?
  • (2024-12-27) Cenk Tekin: Useful extension that works.
  • (2024-12-25) Jyothsna S: giving 3 stars, it would have been great if the side panel could be adjusted according to need, where as it is having minimum fixed width
  • (2024-12-14) Chen Markson: Clean and useful. Love it! One feedback would be to also include pages from other windows of the Chrome so I can look through my pages easier among my 80 open pages.
  • (2024-12-07) Андрей Михайлов: Nice appearance, fast response. But no support for multiple tab selection and operations on selected tabs. I need vertical tabs when there is too many of them, and I want, for example, to move many tabs to other group at once, not one by one. Ideally, The functionality must be the same as that of the standard horizontal tabs or better.
  • (2024-12-03) Chris Vydas: Button does nothing
  • (2024-12-02) G T: How to make it Stay ON always? i have to turn it on everytime i start the browser eventhu i pinned extension on top bar Awesome. Straight to point, safe publisher and very useful.
  • (2024-11-07) Laurence Shafe: Great extension but could the minimum width of the tabs be made much smaller and the colours be made less bright.
  • (2024-11-03) JustZenshiro: An amazing addon that I really needed, especially with chrome's tab grouping feature which Firefox never had. :)
  • (2024-10-20) Serge Weinstock: Very nice. Is it possible to decrease the font size of the panel?
  • (2024-10-16) Qiang Zhang: It works perfectly in Chrome; however, when installed in Edge, the background appears dark, even though my entire browser is set to light mode. Please take a look at this issue.
  • (2024-10-14) Ken Kornblum: Great extension! I would love to be able to size the side panel smaller than is currently allowed. It uses a lot of real estate, but is easily the best vertical tab extension out there. Thanks for the great work.
  • (2024-10-04) Mark: Good job! A few suggestions: 1. Make the SEARCH field background to a dark color so it stands out and easier to see 2. Move the "New Tab" options when right-clicking on a tab - to the top because its used more than the "Close tabs" options 3. Include a "ACTIVE" button/circle somewhere on the top so we can easily jump to the current tab - this is very helpful when there are a lot of tabs, saves time scrolling trying to find the current tab Keep it up!
  • (2024-09-03) Gabriel Zimmermann: Works well. Please add an option to display a number next to each tab. Example: 1. stackoverflow.com 2. youtube so that it's easy to do cmd + 2 to go to youtube. if you have many tabs it's hard to see which number you must press to go to that tab.
  • (2024-08-27) Daria Shevchenko: Love this extention! Game changer for me, since I work with multiple similar tabs and it is very inconvenient to look for a necessary tab when I can't see it's full name. With vertical tabs I can actually see what tab I need and switch to it without clicking through all other open tabs. Thank you guys!
  • (2024-08-23) Serkan Yersen: Very good. I wish the background color could be changed to fit better with the Chrome themes. especially dark ones.
  • (2024-08-21) Hani Chaaban: It would be REALLY nice if dragging and dropping a tab could be improved so that if I hover / hold the drag over another tab, it creates a new tab group (like how it works in Microsoft Edge) - only thing missing! otherwise, great extension.
  • (2024-08-12) Nikolai Shcheglov: The best vertical tabs extension for Chrome! It would be cool to add a feature to hide default Chrome tabs.
