Hide the YouTube™ fullscreen controls with the press of a hotkey or when you move the cursor to the display border.

Does YouTube™ leave the video controls visible for longer than you like? Do you want to have a hotkey that toggles the controls?
This add-on let's you:
- Hide the video controls when you move the cursor to any border
- Hide the video controls and only show them when you want.
- Toggle the controls when you press a hotkey
- Hide some video overlays
- Hide the play/pause animation
In the add-on settings you can configure the individual sides as well as the hotkey.

- Great extension, but u forgot to also do it for when someone skips 10 seconds. currently, the controls still show for a few seconds then disappear when skipping through vid. u should make them not show or only show for 0.5 seconds instead

- Good extension, the problem is that if you use the hotkey, it also hides the mouse cursor, so it's a little annoying. I didn't find a way to avoid that,

- Awesome extension. But please DON'T HIDE MY MOUSE. When ads are showing, there's no way to click "Skip", or do find the video controls because i cannot see my mouse.

- it is hard to give a honest 5 stars rating typically and THIS ONE earned it. YT viewing experience smooth, has a customizable shortcut to hide controls even when paused. works on ms edge. this might be the closest i can get to Hyde that can work on ms edge if not better

- Very good! But please add an ability to stop video with elements hidden. Make such an option. Even if my cursor at border, elements are hidden, they still shown when I press space (pause)

- very nice actually even better than Hyde but turned out this is much more better cause it will show controls again after you moved cursor while in hype you'd have to press hot keys again

- Does the Job perfectly. Whether its hiding the progress bas and the controls, or be it be the video overlays at the end of a video it works perfectly. You can also add your custom hotkey to hide controls. Bonus: even hides the play pause animation, thus giving us a clear screen with no interrupts in the video.

I set up D as the shortcut because is next to F (which is used for full screen), also because J K and L are taken for rewind pause/play and forward. I love using keyboard shortcuts and this is great. The main reason I installed it is because sometimes (especially during tutorials) important information is unreadable behind the progress bar and controls when you pause the video and there was no way to hide it. This extensions solves that problem. Great Job!!!

- In my case on Microsoft Edge i just move cursor to the edge of screen while in full screen mode and bar disappears. Just what i needed.

- In Vivaldi, it works using a hotkey, but not by moving cursor to screen edge (fullscreen video). Make sure the hotkey you choose is not already being used: Vivaldi Setup-->Keyboard.
