Find and download interesting videos (and pictures) from X.com (formerly Twitter.com) with just a single mouse click using a handy download icon inserted into each post.
Videos and images download with accurate names. Videos will be in mp4 format. There's no watermark added to videos or images (like other download extensions sometimes do).
1 - After installation, you will see a download icon (down arrow) under every tweet containing a video or an image.
2 - Simply click the download icon.
3 - Video will be downloaded when loading complete. Look in the Download menu of your browser to locate the item.

The start of longer videos are freezing up when played.
Never had any problems with this one until I noticed "inject.js" in the developer console trying to advertise your other products to me. As if that weren't suspicious enough, it was running on an inappropriate domain. So I checked the permissions, and lo and behold the permission changed unbeknownst to me to access data on all websites. That is a giant leap from the original finite domain list I remember consenting to. Too many red flags for me, boss. I'm out.

Didn't work at all for me, i try to download one video but just download a random JPG i don't even see in the page.

i think it needs update, because sometimes i download media its only appear to be a grok image
used to work great but i guess twatter found a way to ruin it? downloads are more often than not only the "grok" image i believe so until its updated i guess ill have to say that its not too worth it
When it works, it's great - but the vast majority of the time, it downloads some placeholder image of the twitter X icon.

All videos and photos are downloaded as Xi Jinping's photos. Serious error!! help me!!!!!
it works most of the time, but it frequently requires me to refresh the page multiple times for the dl button to appear. not ideal, especially because refreshing the page may cause the post i wanted to be lost. Edit: immediately after i left this review at 3 stars, the plugin began downloading the same singular image over and over instead of the content from posts. ive been using this for months and did not have any issues until i left a review.
This extension works well at times. Other times, the download icon doesn't appear at all, or it downloads Grok logos for no apparent reason (regardless of the image/video I'm actually trying to dowload). I'm still using this because it works most of the time, and I'll happily revert my review back to 5 stars if/when it stops having problems. (Original review): Just tried this today when the more popular Twitter/X downloader extension stopped working. And unlike that one, this one's working flawlessly. Better yet, this one retains the file names for images and videos, where the more popular one doesn't!

Works Good on GX Twitter sidebar. No scam, ong gng
Works well but doesn't work with the "Twitter Large Thumbnails," extension. The download button shows up for the first one or two in the feed, then disappears once the next posts start loading. I suspect this is due to Large Tumbnails making the post larger to accommodate for the extra height on the image.

I have been using this extension for a long time, but today, instead of downloading videos from Twitter, whenever I click to download them, it is downloading an image with the word "HAYDO" written right in the center and a black background around it. Could you tell me what this would be? : Reposting same question by other, but same issue
