Gordon 2025-03-14: Used to be great, made custom themes to match my wallpapers all the time, but since the changes made to the custom theme creator it just doesn't work like it used to. Thanks to the removal of fit and fill options my images no longer fill the whole browser as they did before. The rest of the theme homepage is overrun with bland, ugly ai slop, really disappointing.

Hudson Smith 2022-12-02: If you're trying to create a custom theme now use the themebeta website. Download your custom theme. Then type chrome://extensions in your search bar. Turn on developer mode. It will be in the top right corner of the page. Find the download file you created using theme beta. Simply left click and drag the file over the web page. Now you'll be able to use your custom theme. I hope this helps.
Mutant Rabbit 2022-02-09: this was insanely easy, I just put my picture, pressed load colours, and pressed pack and install and voila, best theme ever.

Alexander Tomasik 2022-01-13: The website is a time capsule of wonderful looking themes shame that I think it's dead. Going through trying to use one of the themes created I got a pop up ad and a download for a file that I didn't download because it felt sketch. Google should be using the ideas collected from the site though and maybe even credit the original designers and be under it's own category; it'd really be nice to have a greater selection of themes.

Aurora Scott 2021-10-06: It is great, but 1 major down side. There is no way to change the color of the HTTPS bar, which sucks because I have light sensitive eyes so I keep everything black as its easier on me. Sadly even when making custom themes I can't change the https bar color and it causes me issues. So im stuck using the neon kingdom themes, which I do like its just they don't have one that's a teal/turquoise/blue-green color which is my theme for the rest of my computer.

Lynah Chambers 2020-09-22: I had this on my old computer, and it worked very well. I then got a new computer, and when I logged in the theme had been deleted. I didn't think much of this, but when I tried to re-make my theme, it wouldn't install. It downloaded the theme as an unopenable file, and it would not install, no matter what I did. Also, I cannot access my account on this app. So, to recap, it worked incredibly well on my old computer, but when I got a new one it absolutely refused to work. That is all.
Sel 2020-08-19: I used this back in 2018, now it won't upload the theme to google chrome?? I followed the steps going to the extensions but it did not work, can someone help me? I really liked this theme creator! :(

justchui 2019-12-09: The first time I used this app it was great, but now I can't apply the theme without it downloading the file which then won't open because supposedly the app isn't installed, even though it is. I'm not able to create an association program/app despite looking for guides online. A little frustrating. When you fix it, let the rest of us know.

The Black Dahlia 2019-10-31: Normally I love this app but there is a glitch currently if you try to download it. It won't apply saying there is no app afiliated with it and that there needs to be an association created in default apps setting page which as far as i can find doesn't exist :/

Hayden Johnson 2019-07-13: It used to work but now, for seemingly no reason, it doesn't. It shows the color of the tabs have changed, but the actual wallpaper shows up as pure white! Idk why it stopped working, but I wish it was fixed so I could continue using it.
