IndieBooks is a Chrome extension that helps local bookstores compete against Amazon by providing an easy and convenient way for book lovers to buy books directly from their favorite indie stores instead of from Amazon.
Get started in 3 simple steps!
💾 Install the extension from the Google Chrome marketplace.
🔍 Search for a book just as you would normally do on Amazon. After finding the book in the search results, visit the product's page for more details. On the right-hand side of this page is where you'll see the IndieBooks extension! IndieBooks displays a list of bookstores in your area with links to where to purchase the exact book you are viewing.
📚 With one click, you can find the book you searched for at the local bookstore of your choice. If the bookstore is sold out, no worries! You can try the next bookstore on the list!

- (2022-02-01) Tolulope “Tolu” Falae: Idea is a 5/5--but currently the redirect link doesn't work and results in a 404 error message. Which defeats the point of the app... I was able to easily delete the redirect link and keep the bookstore webpage link that directs me to the book I'm looking for but I shouldn't have to. Troubleshoot this and I'll make it a 5/5 review.
