- (2025-07-09) Something none of the bot-reviews will mention about the extension itself and not just GPT: Great, unless you like the idea that it doesn't use end-to-end encryption and devs/admins CAN see your data. It's first transferred to their servers and THEN encrypted, which means if they wanted to, they CAN use your data by selling it or training their own AI's/models etc. Just because someone says they aren't/won't doesn't mean it isn't possible, they've had a year after saying they would implement encryption of your chats/life - still haven't delivered. They are more than capable, they keep adding features instead of refining previous ones - they should be implementing real encryption. It's literally your life, ideas, and work - why should you ask for less for a subscription service? If you're comfortable with the idea of basically yourself in digital form able to be seen by admins etc - it's great. Adds things like time-stamps, however it doesn't give the real origin creation date, it dates things on when you installed extension, so isn't so great retroactively but does help prove origin existence. Easy way to export to md etc, I use a different app for PDF archival. Requires PRO for the features you'd actually want. Like organizing your chats into folders and sub-folders, tags, saving extensive prompts and chaining them. You can export single or multiple chats, project chats etc. However: You can't export 1:1 folders, so you can't export a folder with its sub-folders in a zip that mirrors the folder structure, also with time-stamps of the date the chat was created - it's just notes unorganized. All of which should be apart of GPT itself, which is the point of the extension - it adds what openai doesn't understand would get them more sales. Cons summary: No obsidian connectivity. General bugs. Data-risky. Not refining existing features like exporting chats etc. Requires a constant subscription if you need it to help you sort fact-checked chats. Promised features never delivered. Support is really good, however their account system isn't traditional which has caused a lot of issues reclaiming my pro status. 15$ is too pricey for no End to end encryption, while a couple of things in pro should be free or extended. Like the folder system, it doesn't even save it in account and you can't even back it up under pro. So if you have to re-install, good luck getting everything the way it was without backing up extension folder manually which is an absolute pain and time consuming.
- (2025-07-09) If you can hone in on your custom instructions and how to turn your one single question into a decent prompt that gives enough context, ChatGPT is your absolute everything. Your personal advisor, GP, dermatologist, psychologist, accountant, career coach...pretty much anything you can think of. Invaluable.

When selecting it suddenly de-selects so u can startover again. When deleting, he suddenly deleted all the conversations instead of the selected. And i'm sure i did nothing wrong. So i lost everything. And i'm very upset about it.

I`ve tried 3 competitors and ChatGPT because of Samuel Harris Altman! Anyone, who gets such loyalty from "employees" is a different breed! You can always ask ChatGPT advice if your unsure! - (2025-06-27) I like the initial design, but it need improvement... For instance, the export feature. Export to *.md needs naming convention consistency. I had to write a program that would parse the names to make it to where I could import the *.md files into a database. More folders and prompts in the free version, so the user can fully evaluate the extension before upgrading. I'm an Engineer with 25+ years of Software Design and Programming, and Embedded Systems. All and All... It has great features for the developer.
