- Everyone else is right. But if you let it do its thing, it does work. I just create a bookmark to the web store page and REMOVE/INSTALL anytime it gets disabled. Bit of a PITA but, given the lack of working alternatives, not terrible. Only takes a few seconds. The problem is, if the extension EVER completes the countdown WITHOUT being able to close the tab - it becomes forever unresponsive to input. Even closing Chrome and restarting will not reset it. You can open the extension, but it simply will not respond to any clicks so you can't set/start the timer ever again. Only removing then reinstalling extension resets it. This means, not only can you never CANCEL a timer once started, but even the "MUTE TAB" feature also disables the extension once it reaches zero. Oh sure, it does mute the tab....but since the tab didn't close....you're done until reinstalling the extension. Wish the developer would spend an hour and update this extension.

- Works as advertised so far. One test run and is operating at 100%. Going for a run will see if tab with Pandora open in it is closed when I get back from run in one hour. Operating at 50% after two uses. Should've read the rest of comments. Unusable.

- Works wonderfully. I use this timer for ambient youtube videos or as a timer on podcasts. You do have to reinstall it if you cancel it or exit out of the tab it is timing. Still, it works as intended and is far better than similar extensions. I am a fan.

- The extension works great until it doesn't and you have to reinstall. I still think it's worth the trouble because I love falling asleep watching Netflix but I don't want it running all night.

- Constantly breaks and needs re-installing, especially when you cancel a timer or restart Chrome in the middle of a running timer. Otherwise, very useful.

- I like to fall asleep with youtube playing. This app simply counted down then instead of closing the tab just started counting down again

- It works great until you cancel a timer, then it breaks until you reinstall it. Really nice for when it actually works, though!
