- This forum is useless. Good, bad, love it, hate it. So? Only idiots posting here.Where are the tutorials? Not some random self-help anon site operator with zero credentials.What apps need extensions and why? Why do many apps have the same name? Are they the same? No. Some apps are only stored on Google Drive and cannot be stored locally on a Chromebook, but wait! Yes they can but then can no longer be synched. This is the definition of insanity. I don't hate this. I just want someone to show me how to stop chasing my tail. Seriously. I bought my Chromebook from Amazon in Sept 2021 and was shocked to find out it came with nothing. It's just an expensive browser. Surely someone has written a book. I bought 3 kindle books and stored them in my library. Now I can't find my library, lol.

- Docs by Google is another app extension is just exists... for nothing. First, all the apps and extensions here are shown privacy practices but nothing by google apps and extensions here which explains dictatorship on others but no accountability on theirs. Second, this doesn't works and the same with Sheets and Slides. You are forced to install but when it comes to for them to work offline, it doesnt. My net is unstable and I installed this hoping this to work flawlessly offline and sync when the net is present but nothing of that happens. I dont Google give any support, explanation here or anywhere and even if you spend money for their services, you cant anything like companies do to their customers and users. I have used this enough and most of the time, google docs, sheets and slides site also doesnt work or sync and the lack of inbuilt dark mode is a big turn-off. I have shifted towards nextcloud service and nextcloud docs (https://nextcloud.com/) which respects the privacy and has better service free and paid. I dont know to whom Google sells and shares my docs and sheets and slides and PDFs as they never tell us about their data selling and mining practices. I wont recommend this. Choose another for your data and privacy. I know google will suppress this review so as to not let people know the truth.

- Honestly so frustrated because I can't work on my school assignments with the error cursor popping up saying "Your access has expired. Reload this document to gain access. If you still don't have access, contact the document owner." Like I am the document owner and it's getting really frustrating when it pops up every minute and every time i change something on my documents. Honestly OVER it.

- I recently have encountered the issue of trying to open a new doc and the extension always crashes (it says it has encountered an issue and suggest me trying to reload the page/coming back in a few minutes). I uninstalled it and installed it again but the issue persists. I have even tried reloading the page but nothing changes. Is there anyway to fix this?

- Just yesterday my 'docs' are acting weird. Wherever I put my cursor, it actually appears 2 lines above. When I go to type, the cursor is actually 2 spaces in front of the typing. My document actually seems smaller than normal. PLEASE help me.

- I hope Google Docs to offer two language fonts editing at same time, eg Simsun for Chinese and Times New Roman for English, just like microsoft world.

- Why can't you use Google DOCS from within Google DRIVE? A friend with a google account sent me a drive link to a doc (*.txt) plain TEXT file. I double click to seemingly open in Google docs and it barfs trying to send me to "Anyfile Notepad"?!?!?!?!? what's up with that..
