The ExCITATION extension is a tool for academics, scientists, PhD students, and researchers overall to speed up their literature search in Google Scholar database.
1) Journal rankings: SJR (2023), ABS (2024) and ABDC (2022)
SCImago Journal & Country Rank includes 34000+ journals in various disciplines from the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.)
- color-coded quarters: from Q1 top 25%, to Q4 bottom 25%
- Journal Rank indicator. It is a measure of journal's impact, influence or prestige. It expresses the average number of weighted citations received in the selected year by the documents published in the journal in the three previous years
- publisher/journal’s country

- Sort by SJR journal impact factor
- Sort by most cited
Currently it sorts by citation number only within one page of search results.

- (2023-02-06) N Dav: I like it. It is visually interesting and easy to navigate. The ability to see the abstract is outstanding. It will be even better when developers add other indicators. The tool works on Edge. I am not using Chrome.
