- (2020-08-21) Walter Johnson: This is NOT intuitive AT ALL. Just to get the connection started you have to install the extension, which doesn't show up anywhere, then go to Google Drive, click the "NEW+" button, then click "More", then click Powtoons, just to connect your account. AND your account HAS to be under the same email address as your Google Drive. So for my company's Powtoons I create (under the colleague's email address), I can't connect them to my personal Google Drive. This is not helpful, and Powtoons support is extremely limited.

Paying to use an app when there are many others for free is not an option. Unless the education app becomes free I will not be recommending this.

I have no problem paying for an app. As a professional videographer I spend thousands for software of all types so don't mistake me for one of those small-minded "I want something for nothing and if you charge me then you are a horrible, greedy corporation who hates the environment" liberal types. Simply, it is WAY overpriced for what it is. User friendly: check. Innovative: check. Quality: check. Bleed you for ungodly amounts of cash: check and check.
