Using saved Geotagging, MyFotoPlaces quickly finds pictures using the places where you’ve taken the fotos and shows you the location on map. It also automatically finds events where you snapped the pictures, so you can browse pictures as album.
You can save your photos to PDF file to share or store. PDF save wizard allows you to give a name to event, select and describe pictures, choose template of PDF document.
MyFotoPlaces is powered by OpenStreetMap.org
You can organize available non-Geotagged pictures by pinning photos into a place on the map. Assign a location to the pictures and find them any time on map.

- (2019-02-24) Sajal Basu: I would have loved to make this work out. But this does not plot pictures which are on my google photos. Only a single photo from my google drive. And yes I have given all access as requested.
- (2018-08-27) Gerrit Mesker: Blank page. Doesn't do anything.

- (2018-03-29) Chris C: I love myfotoplaces. Keep going and keep improving it, and this app will be really great. Small problems I found when testing: 1. Some of the photos display on the map in one location in Google Photos but in a completely different location on myfotoplaces. For example, I photos that were taken in Boston, MA, that display in the correct location in Google Photos, but for some reason they were displayed in Bulgaria on myfotoplaces. See this example: myfotoplaces Bulgaria: https://www.screencast.com/t/jYizZNXoy Same photo, Google Photos shows Boston: https://www.screencast.com/t/uXWMmH5qeg8u 2. I need a way to click from the photo display on myfotoplaces back to the same photo in Google Photos. Right now, it's hard to figure out where the original photo is on Google Photos. 3. When manually pinning a photo to the map, the "Confirm Pin to Place" box texts says the wrong location. For example, see how when I'm pinning this photo to Tampa, Florida, the box says "United States. Massachusetts". Screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/zAxxFcYG I hope this comment is useful. Keep up the great work! Cadill in Boston
- (2018-03-07) I've been hoping for an app like this forever and had high hopes, but it's only found a dozen old wallpaper images from 2014 out of my 20,000+ google photos images. ALL my photos have geolocation. What gives? What am I missing here? Before anyone asks, YES, I've checked to ensure "remove geolocation from shared photos" is UNchecked.
- (2018-01-28) Asad Abbas Malik 狮子 王 Shīzi wáng (Loin King 狮子 王): very helpfull to geo tag photos
- (2018-01-26) Hakim AB: Did the job.
- (2018-01-19) David S: This extension seems to sort according to location where the UPLOAD occurred - in some cases but not all - and in other cases, correctly identifies the locations where the shots were actually taken. Some of my shots, oddly, originated out in the ocean, though they were some miles from that locale in reality. Regardless of the above concerns, this would be much more usable if there were an option to display ALL shots identified at a given pin-drop simultaneously, rather than requiring the user to scroll through them one by one, guessing as to the date (as I was just doing) to try to relocate a lost shot.
- (2018-01-17) Brian Damschen: Very cool. Glad someone is doing this
- (2018-01-11) Jordi López: Very nice application which synchronizes perfectly with Google Photos.

- (2017-11-23) Seunghoon Hong: If there are more options, it will be great.
- (2017-11-11) Chaos Resolved (ChaosResolved): Works quite well so far. Still on the learning curve, especially insofar as the privacy (or not) of photos is concerned. Example include photos in one folder (or album), some of which are public and some private. It seems that the app has turned on the "public" status on two of my photos (OK, I did post / pin them maybe public for a while, but then tried to reverse it). However, I cannot find the photos in my Drive or Photos with a "public" status. Hope to sort it out.
- (2017-11-07) Frank Noort: Love it!! The only option I would like to have added is to show the locations per album. So select an album and show the locations
- (2017-11-01) Nate Hergert: Great job!
- (2017-10-20) Jon Chan: For what the dev has access to, this works pretty well! I do wish Google would let us decide if they should share estimated location or not. 90% of my older photos were taken on devices that didn't always have the best GPS signal, so they were ALL estimated. They don't show up. This sucks because that was when I traveled the most, so my entire east coast isn't populated :( But good job to the developer!
- (2017-10-18) Kieran Murphy: didnt really tell me anything i didnt know but its a fun app, photos i wanted to know the location of never came up.
- (2017-10-10) Amin Anvary: Awesome

- (2017-07-28) Moi Moi: Great
- (2017-07-24) ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΑΝΤΩΝΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ (Livon): Five stars are not enough for this extremely useful application
- (2017-07-19) Tobias Lundqvist: Perfect tool to make up for the fact that google photos does not have geotagging yet.
- (2017-07-18) Oleg Bakholdin: Very cool app!
- (2017-06-12) I'm concerned that this app requires access to my Google Drive files and folders. Removed it.
- (2017-02-06) Reza Moin: good
- (2017-01-13) Gajanan Koli: I like this app. Handy and useful App! Love it
- (2016-12-04) Larry Giveans: This app is awesome! Just understand - which I did not at first - that it can only map your photos that have been geotagged with specific coordinates. In looking back at my photos I wondered why a number of them weren't showing on the map. After asking the developer about this I now understand that due to Google security restrictions (not limitations of the app) that photos with Estimated Locations' can't be mapped. Even though I can see them on a map in Google Photos for instance the location information, when estimated, simply isn't shared with other programs.
- (2016-10-04) Diego Fornazier Gozer: tks I was looking for it.
- (2016-09-12) Olga Turbina: Handy and useful App! Love it!
