- You can't search for an item right after creating it? You have to refresh the vault. Even with most/all of the "autofill" features disabled, this extension still injects a ton of **** into the DOM near input fields. Why?
- Tahar
- Très bien au départ mais vite devenue une *****.
- Jim
- Freezes at times. I agree with Ron.
- Maciej
- A dramatically unreliable password manager. The LastPass add-on for Edge frequently malfunctions – either logging in doesn't work, reading my password database doesn't work, or password refilling on websites doesn't work. I was recently surprised that everything worked flawlessly for about a month, but that period has just ended, and the add-on doesn't work again. The tech support is hopeless (after numerous exchanges, tech support finally replied that they were mistaken and that what they were saying doesn't work). Their solutions are woefully underdeveloped and unreliable. I'm currently looking for another password manager to which I can happily switch. In the meantime, my passwords have leaked from LastPass. Due to the stress this buggy password manager causes, it's best to steer clear of it for your own health.

- Love this when it works. Stops working every 1-2 days and requires me to remove and re-install. Only in Edge. In Chrome it seems to work all the time, but I only used Edge at work so there is the issue.
- Adrian
- Like many, used to find this app indispensable...not anymore. The extension does not work in MS Edge. Still works in Chrome/Google and on mobile devices otherwise would have been one or no stars.
- Maddi
- Some days just decided LastPass just won't log you in which prevents your from doing your job. Wouldn't reccomend for business or personal use.
- Daniel
- Lastpass extension freezes every week. Requires reinstalling the extension to fix the issue.
- Croce,
- I don't know what they did with this, or what Microsoft did with their endless updates, but it used to work fine, now it has to be reinstalled like once a week for it to show in the extension toolbar as signed in. I guess if you have autism and enjoy troubleshooting and playing with Edge browser settings, this is perfect for you.
- Cline,
- I wish every time I came here and edited my one star review with new ways I hate this extension and this service, it brought their star rating down. ********, Last Pass.
- John
- Used for many years as a cyber professional and it's one of the best ways to ensure you're maintaining unique, long, and complex passwords.
- Robert
- This is a very good and versatile password manager. My spouse and I are able to access our passwords across multiple devices and operating systems. Computers, phones, and tablets just work. OS's: Several flavors of Linux, Windows, iOS, Android, and Apple - it just works. For a final plus, someone can be setup to receive all your PW data should you die or are otherwise unable to access your information. There are safety measures in place for this, so consult Lastpass procedure for this. When my last parent died, I had to use this to get their accounts for their estate.
- John
- This app does me no good if it will not let me log into my accounts.
- Benjamin
- Constantly having to remove and reinstall the extension to get it to work.
- Kyle
- Fails to load quickly on launch. Its a good app but if it doesn't load, its useless.
- Mac
- Just wanted to give feedback as I am experiencing the same issue. Have to remove LastPass extension and add it back on every new session of Microsoft edge browser for my business account. For my personal msn account it works fine. Perplexing at best.

- 05-09-2025 LastPass still haven't fixed the issue on their browser extension on Linux/Ubuntu where when you copy a password or something, it doesn't copy it to the clipboard. I'm honestly on a trial with Bitwarden and they even reply to your reviews giving you a response as to when to expect a fix. Switching to Bitwarden will be a better option... 22-05-2025 I have been a premium Lastpass member for the last few years now but the copying from LastPass to the clipboard isn't still working despite several customers complaining about it. I'm considering upgrading to Dashlane because of this reason.

- I will stick with it here since I am used to the LastPass layout, even after that alert years ago. The recent issue I had was on Edge, I could not figure out what was going on with the Extension that was(not) there for me in Edge... my x64 Win 11 Home laptop. I gave up and removed the plug-in, then added it again. LastPass works as desired after reinstalling and resituating it in the Edge GUI to the right of the address bar, where I want it. The password manager works how I want it to on multiple web browsers, as well as my smartphone apps.

- I've been using LastPass for over 5 years now, and it has consistently performed flawlessly. It’s been a lifesaver in helping me manage and remember my passwords securely. Thanks to LastPass, I no longer worry about forgetting login credentials.
- Robert
- Extension is not loading many times weekly. The last thing one should have to do is print out all Thier passwords.
- Cody
- more like S!HTPASS at this point. can't get much worse.
- Buckley,
- This extension is getting worse and worse. It rarely loads on webpages and is greyed out more than it's available lately. Even uninstalling and reinstalling isn't working anymore.
- Serge
- This extension is vulnerable regarding clickjacking risk. LastPass should consider resolving this threat. The company has a not an excellent reputation since it was highjacked: it should have learned. It is like rolling the dice when I try to login. Half of the time, I can't.
- David
- I've been using Lastpass for many years. There was once a long time ago, a brief period of instability in Chrome but I rarely have any issues with the app and extension. It does the job reliably and apart from occasional update issues requiring an uninstall/reinstall (also rare) I use the (Premium version) acros multiple browsers and devices without issues. I only give a rating of 5 stars to flawless software and those are very rare.
- Corysia
- It works fine in Edge. But I did have to uninstall and reinstall the extension in order to get it working once more.
- Robert
- This extension use to work with Edge but now it does not. Get this fixed!!!
- Scott
- I have been using this for years as a premium customer and it has worked very well for me with Chrome, Edge, and my Android phone. I don't know what I would do without it.
- Kaye
- Why is no one responding to these reviews? Doesn't auto-fill on Edge, have to go into LastPass and physically copy the information. This used to work so well, but now it's dog ****. I'll switch to another product when my current annual subscription is up for renewal.
- Bob
- NEED OPTION FOR ZERO STARS - will be looking to drop LastPass for another alternative. The extension DOES NOT WORK IN EDGE. The extension CONSTANTLY grabs my email address and places into forms that include an email address.
- Mckenzie
- Constantly need to remove and reinstall the add-on in order to log it in. Please fix this!!
- Joey
- doesn't work in edge, rarely work correctly in chrome. i pay for the family plan a year at a time and the cell phone apps work fine, but the edge won't let me log in, it glitches out and says it's encountered an error, uninstalling and reinstalling fixes nothing, this makes it impossible to use because my passwords on my phone don't sync to the browser.
- Allison
- Used to LOVE it. Now I can't get it to fill in anything. Works fine on Chrome. Just not Edge. Ugh.
- Darryl
- uninstall and reinstall to resolve lastpass not autofilling passwords. good app, wish their support announcements and answers to issues was better.
- Alex
- pretty much the worst password manager you can use. Use this if you like losing all your passwords and having 0 support
- Irma
- This has also recently stopped working for me.
- dan
- This just recently stopped working for me too. The extension no longer works.
- Zach
- It's been really good up until about the past few days. The extension doesn't work, it won't fill out passwords or usernames and it logs me out all the time.
- Madhan
- it used to work great, but now I can't access the vault or auto-fill passwords using the extension. Using MS Edge
- Sol
- Something broke within the past couple of days... it used to work great, but now I can't access the vault or auto-fill passwords using the extension. Using MS Edge
- Jeff
- It used to work, but now it seems to log out every time I close my browser and can no longer detect the websites that I'm on for autologin. I'm on Edge browser. Basically, it's unusable now
- Giorgi
- Logged me out, cannot log in neither by desktop app nor by website. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Last password manager I'll ever need? No more like LAST TIME I USE THIS PASSWORD MANAGER.
- jon
- Worked great, for a while. Now I am unable to get into it, even though I have my password written down safely. AND to get to support you have to log in, which means having your password, which does not work. So I am screwed, and not very happy.
- Dan
- It is not good. I use Microsoft's Edge. Something like once a week I have to go through a convoluted process that isn't documented anywhere that shows up when I search for help. The process requires that I go to a browser version, cancel my existing LastPass as identified in Edge by the extension (which I always verify is correct) and then make some guesses as to what to do next until it starts working again. I will seriously consider going through the very onerous process of moving about 150 password locations to a new password manager -- I'm already wasting about 15 minutes a week. In a couple of hours I will have transferred all the necessary information. If it seems like I'm annoyed, it will only get worse ... there is NO way to get help from LastPass for this problem. I not annoyed. I'm about as mad as I can get (I don't write with profanity or this would be a much more interesting complaint).
- Allen
- After the most recent update from Microsoft, my machines no longer work with LastPass. Attempting to reinstall the extension. I know it's not LastPass fault, it's just annoying. Removing the extension and then reinstalling the extension worked.
- Mike
- Was great for a long time. Now simply does not load after multiple tries and resets. Mostly Edge browser used, but trouble with Firefox as well.
- Danny
- What an absolutely abysmal product that never works. I can't believe I'm still paying money for a tool that requires me to log in 100 times, then stops working completely anytime there is a browser update. Time to move to a better password manager solution.
- Susan
- I agree that something must have changed. LastPass has simply stopped working as an Edge extension (don't know about other browsers). No autofill. What's the point if that simple task no longer works?
- Caite
- I’ve always loved LastPass, but in the last few months it’s been nearly unusable in Microsoft Edge. The extension often isn’t clickable, making it impossible to log in or use autofill. Sure, you can still log in on the website—but who wants to copy and paste passwords manually? That defeats the purpose.
- Eric
- When it works, it's great, but incredibly unstable with Edge. Like others, uninstalling the extension and reinstalling to get it working again is a very common, very annoying task.
- Chrystal
- Used to work and continues to not work - extension shows - if hover a very small box displays with no text (like before to open vault, search... --- but most frustrating is NOTHING autofills - even if launch from the app - have to cut/paste everything. UGH - broke it and please fix
