Image from store Read on reMarkable
Description from store It’s now easier than ever to send web content to your reMarkable account. A standard click will send articles in a simplified text format, which also provides more adjustment possibilities. In addition, you have the option to right-click on the extension, to send your article as a PDF. Once the content is on your reMarkable account, you’ll be able to read and annotate without distractions on your paper tablet. Good to know before installing: * If you don’t already have an account at my.remarkable.com, you’ll need to create one * Once installed you’ll find the extension icon at the top right of your Chrome window, beside the address bar * Be mindful that each website has its own way of displaying content, which may change the formatting when it appears on your reMarkable account

  • (2023-07-02) Chris Kenst: I love the extension when it works. It recently stopped working (errored when uploading), so I had to un-install and re-install. That seems to be the workaround. Certainly makes it easier to bookmark articles!

  • (2023-02-02) Lourenço Jardim de Oliveira: Poor stability. From time to time, stops working. App is the same.
  • (2022-12-16) John Landfair: Fantastic. This has pretty much changed my life. I wish I could change the format a little bit, so I had more room to write. But seriously. I don't know how to read an article on a stupid computer screen anymore :D
  • (2022-11-29) Peter Vrabel: Bisher problemlos.
  • (2022-10-10) Alexander ter Hark: Can't believe I've taken so long to discover this AMAZING feature! It's literally one click. Not two. Not three. One. Another game-changer from a truly innovative company.

  • (2022-08-31) Alex Hiller: It's ok for web articles, but if I have a PDF open in Chrome, then try to "Read on Remarkable" it does not work.
  • (2022-04-25) erwan Besnard: Cette extension fonctionnais très bien jusqu'à hier ou elle est devenue presque inutilisable: sur certaines pages j'ai l'erreur Upload failed. Please check your connection and try again. qui apparaît. Impossible de transférer la page à part l'imprimer en pdf, puis ouvrir l'application pour faire le transfert à ma Remarkable.
  • (2022-04-21) garcia_t22: I absolutely love this add-on, I'm a programmer and sending all the articles and tutorials to my device with just one click really makes the difference, the only bad point is that the "Read on Remarkable as pdf" doesn't work, it opens the chrome print preview and you can only save it on pdf, afterwards you need to sent it to the device with the desktop app.
  • (2022-02-04) Nicole Kirkley: I am having trouble in connecting to my remarkable account. I get a failed to fetch message when I enter the one time code. Any advice?
  • (2021-12-17) Daniel Ribeiro: Works fine for passing articles to my Remarkable2
  • (2021-12-10) Michiel Olbrechts: It's pretty good! Quick and easy. The only thing that is missing is that some images in the webpages aren't included in the PDF. It would be great if this support could be added. For the meantime I use the Print Friendly & PDF extension and drag that file into the Remarkable app - not a terrible workaround but would be nice to have it included in the remarkable app.
  • (2021-11-30) Joe Gilmour: This company does good products, but their customer support is really poor and not helpful. Had problems with this extension and Customer Support were difficult to contact in the first place and then not interested in genuinely helping.
  • (2021-11-10) Aimee Shalan: I have downloaded the extension, but it's not appearing in the top right hand corner so I can't use it.
  • (2021-10-29) X Tom Gu: So far so good! It has been very helpful!
  • (2021-10-25) Alex White (lex): May work fine on other browsers, but crashes MS Edge print function every time you try to convert something into PDF. Still no bugfix though, although other users already reported that massive issue. Thus DON'T USE WITH MS EDGE BROWSER!!!
  • (2021-10-21) P S: Unfortunately it won't work on Chromebook :(
  • (2021-09-26) MC 001: I'll be very very useful if we can print in landscape mode !!!
  • (2021-09-15) Fredrik Claesson: It is a convenient way to be ale to read web articles on your reMarkable. Some PDF:s however will get strange formatting and I whish the was a way to choose "landscape" when generating PDF:s
  • (2021-08-06) john guobadia: This remarkable extension works perfectly well as advertised, i just got my remarkable and so far it has been a useful tool for my workflow.
  • (2021-07-16) Daniel Biegala: If you import articles from the Internet as text, the associated images from the article are never imported. But you need this if you want to read the article properly. I know. that you can import the article as a PDF instead, but the PDF looks very bad from the tablet because the texts are much too small. So this is simply not a satisfactory solution. It should be possible to also import the images from the article, even if you use the text importer.
  • (2021-07-15) Gaelan D'costa: This is the only thing I use chrome for, which at least for me is a testament to its (and the Remarkable in general's) importance to my workflow. I didn't realize how much nicer text-dominant articles looked when I read then on my tablet. My one wish is that the original URL was attached as (meta)data somehow for the desktop app and tablet to display; for articles I wish to keep I want to refer back to the source and right now I have to manage my articles both in a bookmarks list so I can eventually write down their citation info, as well as the reading queue I have on the tablet.
  • (2021-06-27) Lois Freisleben-Cook MD: Asked our billing service to make an electronic billing sheet that I can access easily without having to carry paper. This device solved that problem.
  • (2021-05-20) tom el: On chrome 73 on windows, it hangs too forever. There was another extension that worked but unfortunately it's currently banned from the store.
  • (2021-03-19) Dominik Grewe: Very convenient way to upload academic papers and web articles to my reMarkable 2 from my Chromebook (via PDF printing). Wish it was as convenient from my Android phone!
  • (2021-03-10) Jonathan Goossen: Very convenient extension - makes it effortless to send articles to the remarkable. Update: epubs can have their text size changed by accessing ebook setting in the bottom left corner under text settings. Happy with the extension, would like if it included photos in the epub versions, but technically the pdf is a workaround at the moment. 5 stars because this type of extension supported by remarkable not a third party makes it a true replacement from reading articles etc on the computer.
  • (2021-03-01) Espoir Murhabazi: When the application is working the quality of content send on the device are superb. Most of the time however, the application is not working, it show that the application was send to the device but when I check there is nothing on the device, . If I restart the device , some file appears but not all the files that was send before.. And there is no way to debug this...
  • (2021-02-12) Evan Parker: I downloaded the extension today and everything works as it should. The conversion from webpage to ebook is very helpful and is more readable than the .pdf, to me. Although changing the scale of the .pdf during "printing" to remarkable may help with that. I wish, however, there is the option to turn a .pdf or ebook into a notebook so that the .pdf can serve as a "cover letter" if you will. I am a student and this would allow me to read the .pdf and continue working on the problems. The ability to append a .pdf to an existing notebook would also be a nice addition, though that is outside the scope of this extension. All in all I am happy with the extension.
  • (2021-02-11) Simon Schilling: Totally unreliable. If you want it for play, might work. If you want to be productive at work, don't use it!
  • (2021-02-04) Philipp Flenker: Doesn't work - the remarkable always says "Downloaded file is corrupt"
  • (2021-02-01) Martin Zvarík: I LOVE REMARKABLE !!! THANK YOU ❤
  • (2021-01-10) Jack Koppa: Really liking it! A great tool for making Remarkable more regularly useful. Would love to be able to choose the default folder for downloaded content; in order to use this regularly, it'd be nice to avoid cluttering the main directory & having to regularly move content into a "Read Later" folder or something similar.
  • (2020-12-30) Teri Torgeson: Can't get it to work . . .help would be appreciated. I just got my Remarkable 2 and I tried saving an article on the web through the Chrome extension. I followed the instructions and got to the point where it said print, and I had the print destination as "Read on reMarkable (PDF)". When I hit print I get the message, "Printing failed. Please check your printer and try again." I have tried every which way (i.e. black and white, etc). Still no luck. Any suggestions?
  • (2020-12-29) Sergio Uribe: Useful and practical. Seems that there is no option to choose which folder in the device the content will be delivered.Would be nice to have a READ LATER folder in the device and that any content will be delivered there
  • (2020-12-23) Paul Keir: Accessing pdfs on the Remarkable 2 is crucial. While my first pdf transferred correctly, nothing now transfers. After I click "Read on Remarkable as pdf", no message appears within the browser, and no file appears on my Remarkable 2. I wish this was all less "managed". Please gives us a simple location to upload files to for access from the Remarkable 2.
  • (2020-12-15) Harry van de Vorst: This works perfect, I can copy the articles that I want to read later to my reMarkable! Just so easy to do and I save time at that time as well!
  • (2020-12-11) Maryam Alwan: I haven't experienced too much of the app, but everything I have used so far with it (pdfs and epub) always come deformed without tables lets say or bullet points.... I hope it changes.
  • (2020-12-10) Roberto Zagni: You can generate PDF that are pretty close to the actual page, but good luck figuring out that you have to pick the "read on Remarkable" device to get the PDF automagically loaded to the RM. The EPUB version, very sadly, does not bring over any image, making it almost useless. Why ? EPUBs have images, so it is not a format issue... come on, make it work like it should. And make network connection a bit quicker to get established. Why I have to wait minutes to get the synchronisation started? Fix these, then you will get the remaining stars.
  • (2020-12-08) Arild Liland: I feel stupid. I installed the read on rM, but how can I get pdfs on the RM? I don't see the RM-sign. I must be blind.
  • (2020-12-04) Evgeny Popov: Works perfectly to my needs, image processing could be better but in general amazing
  • (2020-11-28) Cristine Lai: It would be much more convenient if we can directly upload and download files from and to the tablet through the reMarkable web cloud instead of using the apps or extension! The current process is still a bit manual.
  • (2020-11-23) Dileep reddy Janagam: This is an excellent and remarkable addition to the reMarkable 2 tablet. So easy to transfer the web articles on to the remarkable. Within seconds the documents gets downloaded into the tablet into easy read format, wow! I love this extension and appreciate the reMarkable team for their efforts in developing it.
  • (2020-11-19) David Rakers: Geen Icon
  • (2020-11-10) Steven Alves: I just got my remarkable2 today. I got this extension and it worked like a charm.
