Tab limiter helps you get back control over your browsing – by limiting the number of tabs you can open at once.
You can specify the number of tabs in total and per window. Moreover, you can show a customizable message when the tab limit is hit.

- So glad there's a Manifest v3 version of The Tab Limiter. This extension is perfect. At a glance you can easily see how many tabs you have left to open, differing limits per window and total. Customisable alert if exceeded before closing. Auto open in new windows if window limit is exceeded but total limit is not. Thanks!
