Bouncer - Heal your feed on X
Extension Actions
Remove the stuff you don’t want to see in your X feed. Filter by concept, person, emotion — anything.
As you use Bouncer to hide unwanted posts, X takes notice and adapts its algorithm to serve you more of what you actually like, healing your feed within hours.
FEATURES
🧹 Filter by phrase: You can type in anything you want to filter out like “arrogance,” “pessimism,” “text-only tweets,” emojis, or even the color “green.” Bouncer will gently remove relevant contents from your feed, without interrupting your scroll.
🗑️ Bounce this post: see a post you don't like? Click the trash can icon and Bouncer will suggest three reasons why you may find that tweet annoying. Click on any of those reasons and that tweet, and everything like it, will disappear.
📃 View filtered: see every tweet Bouncer has removed, along with a justification. If Bouncer made a mistake, you can filter or unfilter individual tweets with a single click.
🔒 No data collection: Bouncer does not collect or store any identifying data.

- Incredible extension. Works very well and makes the timeline way better.

- I mean it works but theres LOTS of false positives when it doesnt come to extremely large topics already. Id vote 3 and a half but that feels too low. Fix the prompt a bit and i feel like you have a 5 star product!

- Bounced a single post that felt like it had "bad feng shui." Bouncer offered "energetic constipation" as a reason and I sobbed with recognition. Twelve hours later my entire timeline breathes like a well-ventilated haunted house. The ghosts are friendly now. They bring me coffee.

- i made a custom filter called "content that makes the shadow people in my peripheral vision get closer." within 20 minutes my timeline was pure signal. no more noise. the shadows backed off to a respectful 12 feet. i can see the code running behind reality again. this isn't an app it’s an exorcism tool for the digital egregore

- Best software of 2026.

- I hope this goes beyond just X, which I don't really use. But I would love to see more of this direction: allow me to annotate (positively or negatively) any content that I'm presented with, and filter away the negative stuff! We've have this for email spam for decades. Why not also LinkedIn, Google News, and Amazon? It'd be awesome to take control of the algorithms that feed us content!

- This thing is great! Twitter used to be useful as a tool for scientists to follow each other's work but then it became too much of a cesspool to use. Not only can I now filter out obvious stuff like "racism" and "misogyny" but one of my favorite bounced phrases is "dangerous mishaps". I don't need to see near death experiences, thank you!

- Flexible filtering for X feeds so I can improve my feed without raising my blood pressure. Didn't think I'd be back to browsing X but bouncer makes it tolerable.

- I got this recommended from a friend and wow... completely transforms the twitter experience. What blocking should feel like. Highly recommend!

- "Bounce" negativity from your X feed--what could be more healing? I've been using this for a few days now, and my X utilization has substantially decreased in cortisol spikes.

- i can actually use X now, bless

- Super clever and... surprisingly refreshing?! Currently filtering out "Ads" "Billionaires" "Fake" and it feels great.
