Note: After installing, press F5 to refresh your Facebook page — the extension will start running automatically in the background.
If it doesn’t work right away, please restart your browser to ensure the script is properly loaded.
Using this extension can prevent Facebook tab from automatically refreshing after a long period of inactivity, allowing you to:
- Stay at the original post position or message window
- Not lose progress when switching tabs, so reading, commenting or editing posts are not interrupted
After successful installation, the extension will run automatically in the background when you refresh the Facebook page.

- (2025-07-26) ddanrr: It's not working for me either. Yes, I reinstalled it, restarted the browser. I'm using the web version of FB on a laptop. If it helps, when I show extensions information, it shows this one as "No access needed, this extension doesn't need to see and change information on this site." When I am on the FB website. So maybe it can't get access for some reason.
