  • (2025-08-29) Abby B: I've been using Honey for years. I have saved so much money thanks to this browser extension. I've gone to make purchases that I never would've even considered there might be a coupon code for, but the Honey ext reminds me with a prompt and to my delight and surprise, it has found major discounts for me that I'd never have found otherwise. I came here to give it a 5-star rating, but after reading the other reviews and then doing some research about how Honey has stolen the commissions earned by hard-working content creators, affiliates, "influencers", I'm not feeling quite so good about it. At least Google forced them to stop completely ripping off the incomes earned by individuals, but I still don't think they're totally playing fair and I genuinely hope the Class Action Lawsuit results in all those people getting what they earned 10-fold. It it cripples PayPal and Honey gets shut down, I won't be mad at all. I'll celebrate actually. Until then, when I can tell I'm not letting them get credit that's due elsewhere, I'll take the discounts.
  • (2025-08-29) Bradley Salt: They have started advertising on Google search listings. You must create an account to change settings. Bad development practices. They just want your data. They replace affiliate links with their own to generate revenue. Used to be cool, they got greedy and now are scumbags. Switched to Caramel. They are open source and more privacy forward. They also use creator affiliate links rather than their own.
  • (2025-08-28) Shubham Kushwah: What an insane scam this is. Just go google The Honey Scam of 2024.
  • (2025-08-24) Yoitin: does not work when finding coupons
  • (2025-08-24) M J: Heads up! Your Gold expires in 30 days! F off, this is nothing but a greedy business practice.
  • (2025-08-21) Douglas Salerno-Kirkwood: barely/rarely works
  • (2025-08-20) sarah rose: Used to work, last few times I've tried it its made my cart substantially more expensive 🙃 thanks a lot. BYE
  • (2025-08-17) Kaylee: Great when it works-- but it works seldom. The pop-up to test for coupon codes rarely works on many sites, and the only way you can redeem rewards is through PayPal.
  • (2025-08-15) Zachary Allender: I used to think Honey was a harmless way to save a few bucks at checkout, but after learning what’s really going on behind the scenes, I immediately uninstalled it. Honey has been exposed for quietly replacing creators’ affiliate links with its own, effectively hijacking commissions meant for influencers and content creators who actually recommended the product. It feels incredibly dishonest — the creators do all the work, and Honey intercepts the payout. Worse, the so-called “best deals” it shows are often controlled or prioritized by merchants, meaning you’re not always getting the best coupon or discount available. It’s more about pushing what benefits them, not you. This isn’t just some small bug — it’s a pattern of behavior that prioritizes corporate profit over transparency and user trust. The fact that Google had to update its extension policies because of Honey says a lot. Bottom line: It’s not just a bad extension — it’s an unethical one. Do your favorite creators a favor and uninstall it.
  • (2025-08-14) Nicole Renee Pariseau: saves me money that is a good thing

  • (2025-08-07) J Mc: App and website no longer showing coupon codes, so I can't enter them where they are actually needed. Wasted an hour of my life trying to get the codes! and if you remove from traditional checkout page to try to see them all and not just the one it wants to add to your fake cart, the prompt no longer works or gives the option to manually or automatically add codes again.
  • (2025-08-05) Gillian: Great little app. Hopefully they will bring it to mobiles too.
  • (2025-08-03) Gail Morris: Has to be the most annoying extension. Always gets in the way by popping up covering information on the site I am on. Plus I don't think I can remember when I received a discount via Honey that worked.
  • (2025-08-02) Pat O'Malley: VERY annoying and idiotic that it will pop up in front of the part of the screen where you have to log in to a site, and will pop up when you are shopping instead of when you are actually buying.

  • (2025-07-17) Alex Leon: It's annoying.
  • (2025-07-15) Peter Griffin: Works great for me.
  • (2025-07-12) retro: SCAM! These reviews are being botted by PayPal to maintain a 4+ star rating. Go to YouTube and search --> "Honey Scandle". Delete this malicious extension NOW! (and do not download the Pie adblocker either, identical scam) Please find an extension that doesn't practice referral FRAUD, or find your coupon codes manually.
  • (2025-07-12) Hrishikesh Muvva: GREAT FOR ME I have saved atleast 400$ buying cleats, balls, and more and its free NICE.
  • (2025-07-10) Shana K.: I wanted the Honey extension to track pricing. It was working for a while, but it's not working any longer. The extension only determines if coupons are available and advertises for Paypal. It's more of a headache than it's worth.
  • (2025-07-08) Sophy Gao: terrible company. scams. watch the youtube exposé about PayPal Honey and you will see.
  • (2025-07-05) PH Drost: Honey is the best! I have tried them all since Covid basically shut down shopping in person. Now in 2025, I still shop online and it is a (game changing) no longer a waste of time to shop online! 5 stars for Honey, today and always!

  • (2025-07-03) Talha Ahmed: Scam. For one word only.
