  • (2025-01-13) Aaron Cooke: EDIT: My initial review indicated "it's not intrusive", which couldn't be further from the truth. If you don't know what I mean, watch the YouTube video by MegaLag. I'm sorry to all those who lost money from sales I made because I used the Honey extension. I have since uninstalled the extension, reported it as abusive to Google, and I look forward to the outcome of the class action lawsuit against PayPal Honey for it's disgusting, secretive, intrusive business practices. Original (inaccurate) Review: It just works... and it's not intrusive... don't think twice... get it!
  • (2025-01-11) Jonathan Love: And now owned by PayPal this company is trash. Look for yourself online get off any platforms owned by Elon, Zuck and Amazon.
  • (2025-01-11) Steals affiliate attribution.
  • (2025-01-11) Thomas Smith: They are actively scamming customers and businesses. DO NOT INSTALL1
  • (2025-01-10) Joshua Barker: Turns out I was being scammed.
  • (2025-01-09) Adrian Serban: Sadly can't give a rating of 0. For those who don't know, Honey stole (from the content creators that promoted the extension) the commisions from the sales. Disgusting behaviour and if you dont believe, google it.
  • (2025-01-09) Tristan Jones: although this extension has saved me money , stealing money from content creators is not ok.
  • (2025-01-08) Raj: AMAZING scam
  • (2025-01-07) was decent before getting acquired by PayPal, now it is a completely scam with shady business practices
  • (2025-01-06) Rek LeCounte: This extension colludes with companies to NOT provide the best deals or coupons, steals referral credit from other sources (including your favorite influencers), and it essentially functions as a scam in plain sight. Don't download it, and if you have it, remove it.
  • (2025-01-06) Kaila De Haan Burke: Honey is a scam. They are stealing affiliate money, accepting money to hide coupons from you, and are running unknown programs in the background.
  • (2025-01-06) Abdulrazzak Fallaha: What an absolute scam! Do not install!
  • (2025-01-06) Starcraft One: Remove this scam addon immediately
  • (2025-01-05) Nathaniel Lough: They advertise that they are searching the internet for the best coupon codes and checking their database. The problem is that it's a lie and a scam. After recent news exposed the Honey scam, a lot of people are uninstalling this and even posting bad reviews on here. And honestly, it's deserved. Nobody should be using this anymore. It's a disgusting company that steals affiliate link money, secretly WHILE ALSO hiding known coupon codes from you because the companies pay them to only recommend weak coupon codes, and ignore the good ones that users try to add to the database. It's a way to discourage you from searching for active (better) coupon codes, by making you believe that a 5% code was actually the best one out there, so don't bother looking for something better. During the Unity sale recently, they were running a site-wide coupon code advertised on a huge banner across the site. But even though thousands of people were using it with honey installed, honey never recommended it. They were hoping people would forget to manually type it in and they didn't want it to just be an automatic discount applied for honey users. If you click the honey button, it would pretend to be searching for coupon codes, but it actually was deliberately not showing you that one.
  • (2025-01-05) Demetri Postway: Stay away from this extension. Honey knows why it's receiving this 1 star review.
  • (2025-01-04) Sunil Jamkatel: Update: SCAM! Old review: Awesome product!!
  • (2025-01-04) I rated this highly back in 2015, but now I see their deceptive practices and am changing my rating to 1 (if I could rate it 0, I would). Uninstalling this extension immediately.
  • (2025-01-03) Kory Harris: Screwed over their clients, screwed over non-clients, screwed over their users, extorted online retailers
  • (2025-01-03) Honey gold hasn't arrived for over a year
  • (2025-01-03) Kurt C: (2020) It used to automatically apply coupons, now it doesn't, the automatic coupons were good and usually saved a fair bit. I went on to the dominos site and have manually copy every coupon, before it would just apply every single one with one click. If you change it back I'll give it 5 starts, otherwise I'm leaving it at 3. I found a better coupon on a different site, it seems honey have sold out and only give coupons that those companies want them to give out so people don't get stuff too cheap. I used to recommend this but after finding out it can't even give me a good coupon, I won't be recommending it again. (2025) At least I know I was right about them selling out. I ain't got support a company that doesn't give the best deal and steals affiliate links.
  • (2025-01-03) Pablo Hurtado: A bunch of thiefs that steal refferals and doesnt find the best codes.
  • (2025-01-03) Janet Beatrice: UPDATE ON JAN 3 2025: I've been enjoying Honey without realizing that they're scamming people who work to recommend products. I didn't know until I saw a video from Legal Eagle, a lawyer who is suing Honey. Look it up if you want more details. I have saved money using Honey, but I won't do business with this company. I will delete this extension right after posting this update. FROM OCT 3 2016: I'm about to register for a domain name and Honey (which I didn't even remember having) just saved me a dollar. Not bad for a $10 purchase with no effort on my part!
  • (2025-01-03) A M: Scam App. Do not install.
  • (2025-01-03) Eric Yang: DO NOT INSTALL. This is a MAJOR scam, PLEASE READ. They partner with stores to provide coupon codes that are worse than the actual set of coupon codes the store provides itself, thereby preventing you from getting the best discount. The partner links that honey provides to influencers to promote honey actually steal money from the influencer.
  • (2025-01-03) Robin Singh: I have had it for a while and it never finds any working codes. And now its worse knowing that they are actually scamming shoppers and creators. Uninstalling and deleting my Paypal account as well. If you don't know ( Paypal ) is their parent company. Bloody crooks.
  • (2025-01-03) Jared M. Herbert: Semi-useful, but no longer a fan after their "scammy" doublespeak to mislead users on the actual value of their tool...
  • (2025-01-01) vince stice: Scam! Do not install. Look up MegaLag on YouTube if you want to know more.
  • (2025-01-01) Screw honey for scamming people!! We trusted you.
  • (2025-01-01) Its a scam
  • (2025-01-01) I haven't used it in years but I just reinstalled it again just to leave this review. Don't use such a scam extension. Just google the coupon codes.
  • (2025-01-01) Don't use honey they steal other's money...
  • (2024-12-31) Nicolas Meunier: C'est une grosse arnaque
  • (2024-12-31) Don't. Use. Honey. They have been found to replace other people affiliate code and are doing shady scam activities.
  • (2024-12-31) Myles Buckley: Wikipedias definition of malware: Malware (a portmanteau of malicious software)[1] is any software intentionally designed to cause disruption to a computer, server, client, or computer network, leak private information, gain unauthorized access to information or systems, deprive access to information, or which unknowingly interferes with the user's computer security and privacy.
  • (2024-12-30) Sad to learn that's a scam. Check it out on youtube, Exposing the Honey Influencer Scam - MegaLag
  • (2024-12-30) Fidaan Anver: SCAM
  • (2024-12-30) Dinesh: scam
  • (2024-12-30) Michael Dennis: Maybe this is because I'm in Canada and I don't do a lot of online shopping, but I've never actually gotten a code that works on Honey. It's come to the point where I'm more annoyed that they're popping up in a fairly large popup to tell me they don't have a code (I didn't even ask) that I'd actually consider uninstalling it. I see other people have had success with this, but I'm like 0 for 50 or so. I'm not saying it won't work for you, but there's a lot of very positive reviews and It's frustrated me that it just doesn't seem to do anything for me. EDIT: apparently this is a scam software to steal referral commisions as well.
  • (2024-12-28) Doesnt work anymore. Worked for the first year and now its just tracking my purchases. Removing from chrome
  • (2024-12-27) James S: Scam, typical from PP
  • (2024-12-27) Christopher Dobson: SCAMMERS! No longer gets the best coupons and linkjacks referrals from creators.
  • (2024-12-27) scammed us and the creators we like for 5 years, scummy linkswapping and taking profits from the small guy.
  • (2024-12-26) Yassin Mokni: SCAM
  • (2024-12-26) Adam: please give mr beast more money Edit: Naw it's over for him
  • (2024-12-26) Karl Gutowski: Honey does not show you any good coupons, or ones that actually work. I got only one successful 5% discount through this app over the years. It rips off commissions from affiliate links, and any review you ever watched or read with a link to buy the product doesn't get paid for their effort as long as you have this installed. The only value of Honey is to send you an email when any items you marked at various retailers go on sale.
  • (2024-12-26) Noah (Noah): scam and deceptive marketing/practices.
  • (2024-12-25) n a: fraud and scammers
  • (2024-12-25) Wade Bashour: SCAM
  • (2024-12-25) Steelt geld van content creators door je tracking cookies aan te passen
  • (2024-12-25) Corey Lucero: Honey is a SCAM. It's stealing from you, online affiliates sponsored by the products you purchase, and the businesses, large and small that you purchase from.
