- Scam extension that steals coupon codes and affiliate links from creators.

- megalag single handedly taking down this scam

- I installed Honey to save money, but I’ve since learned that the extension has been involved in seriously questionable practices, including allegedly intercepting affiliate links and diverting commission away from content creators who actually earned it. Instead of supporting creators or being transparent about how it operates, Honey appears to insert itself at the last second to claim commission for doing little to no real work. That’s not “helping users save,” that’s exploiting the system behind the scenes. Transparency and trust matter. Until Honey fully addresses these concerns and changes how it operates, I can’t recommend this extension to anyone.

- BEWARE: Faustian bargain. This extension can access your: Personally identifiable information, Financial and payment information, Location, Web history, User activity, Website content. Honey tracks and sells this despite implying that they do not. Google search for MegaLag's breakdown for details.

- I have used honey for years but will be uninstalling after hearing how shady they are, their blatant disregard for doing the right thing, straight up lying to people, and using scummy tactics, really shows how paypal operates these days, they are like any other company once they get to big they go corrupt.e

- I wish you could rate an app zero stars. From what I've heard about this company, they have some really really shiesty business practices and NO ONE should use their service. It's harmful to both the consume and retailer. BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT. BOYCOTT HONEY-PAYPAL.

- Before you start using the extension, make sure to look into it first. An extension of this usefulness and quality, free, means that, somehow, YOU are the product. Turns out this extension reads and records your shopping habits, your checkout baskets, and "partners" with store sites to purposely give you worse or more restrictive coupon codes, or to hide codes from you entirely. Definitely do not use, just look up coupon codes manually. Paypal paid BILLIONS of dollars to buy this extension. How do you think they plan to make their money back?
- Nouf Ray
- Scam, and they clearly state when you install it that they'll read your information , edit, and send them on all website.

- Terrible, unethical, and intrusive. They are actively hostile to the user and they track you and steal your data without consent. This doesn't even scratch the surface. Watch YouTuber MegaLag's videos on them. It's unreal.
- Laura Logan
- Predatory company, do not install. Do not sign up for Honey they collude with other companies to raise prices artificially. This extension is also invasive and annoying to have it pop up constantly.

- Absolutely predatory extension that is harmful to both consumers and businesses. Do NOT install this. If you want the full rundown, go watch MegaLag's videos covering this extension on YouTube.
- April Kotsch
- In my opinion this is a predatory company hurting businesses and consumers. Please do not install.

- I used honey from 2020-2024. I didn't know they were manipulating both customers and businesses like that. I am happy I no longer use the coupon site as I feel it's closer to stealing than what not. For all the paid reviewers, be wary of what honey collects from the website and businesses you like to shop with. All the small businesses are not consenting to their private coupons being revealed out in the open.

- hit and miss. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I know there are codes but it won't pull them up
- Cheryl Shuman
- First time using, I will check it out and let you know.
- Karen Durkin
- I have always gotten great deals form Honey. It can be annoying, showing up before I am ready to complete my order, but when I am ready, it often, not always, finds a discount for me. Sometimes I have the best price and there is nothing they can do for me, but many times I get a nice discount.
- JasonMPJr
- Its a scam that was reported on by a youtuber. look it up. dont use honey
- Brandon Morrissey
- Good scam. I like how it has the little pop up "checking prices" as it changes the URL to strip the affiliate code from others. A URL is too long to typically see it. But if you disable the extension and copy/paste the URL into excel, and then enable the extension following the original affiliate link again, you'll find it change the URL to benefit them while having done nothing for you.
- Robin MAINE
- This extension was awesome, but lately it won't even launch. Why did it stop working? I have toggled off and on and even deleted chrome and reinstalled. Just stopped working and I wonder if it is because of the linking with PayPal?
- Pam Nelson
- Thank you so much.
