Override Echo360 playback speed restrictions for university lectures worldwide
Most Australian universities (and many worldwide) use Echo360 for lecture recordings.
Echo's strict restrictions were blocking the usual speed control browser extensions, so I made one to let me exceed 2x speed.

TWO WAYS TO USE:
⏯️ Method 1: Player Menu
1. Click the green playback speed button on the Echo360 player
2. Choose from extended speeds, up to 4x (I find 2.25x/2.5x to be the sweet spot, but it depends on the lecturer and topic of discussion)
🧩 Method 2: Extension Popup
1. Click the extension icon in Chrome's toolbar
2. Use the slider or presets to adjust speed
