MirrorTubeX

MirrorTubeX lets you quickly mirror videos for a more comfortable viewing experience.
Designed for people who prefer a mirrored view (for dance practice, workout follow-alongs, tutorials, and more).
It also fixes videos that were initially uploaded mirrored.

How It Works

YouTube

- A MirrorTubeX button is added to the YouTube player controls
- Click the button to toggle mirror mode on/off

X (x.com, formerly Twitter)

- A **Mirror Video** button is added in the video controls, right after **Video Settings**
- Click it to toggle mirror mode on/off

Permissions Used
MirrorTubeX uses only the permissions needed to work:

- activeTab: to interact with the currently active tab when needed
- scripting: to run mirror logic in the active page context

Privacy

MirrorTubeX does **not** collect, store, or sell personal data.

- No tracking
- No analytics
- No external data sharing

Supported Sites

- youtube.com and subdomains
- x.com and subdomains
- More supported sites are on the way.
- Additional sites can be added based on user interest.

Notes:
- If a site updates its player markup, button placement may need small adjustments in future releases.
- MirrorTubeX focuses on core mirroring behavior and minimal UI.
