Take screenshots and get translation right away! With our innovative OCR Translator Chrome Extension, you can capture any part of your screen—even if it's just an image—and instantly receive a translated overlay. Unlike other tools that only work with selectable text, our extension uses advanced OCR technology to extract text directly from images, making it perfect for those hard-to-reach areas like YouTube videos, Google Maps photo reviews or foreign language Instagram posts.
⭐️ Key Features:
1️⃣ Instant Capture & Crop: Quickly take screenshots and crop the exact area you want translated.
2️⃣ Advanced OCR Technology: Extract and translate text from images, not just digital text.
3️⃣ User-Friendly Translation Overlay: See translations appear directly over your original content for a smooth browsing experience.

- (2025-06-23) Vitaly Zorin (addefan): Unexpectedly, the UI/UX is a masterpiece, thank you so much for that. But I ran into the problem that the keyboard shortcut that I often use (Ctrl+B) conflicts with the newly appeared shortcut that launches this extension, which is why my initial action, intercepted by the extension, does not work. Unfortunately, I did not find any tab with settings where I could reassign/disable the keyboard shortcut. It would be great if such an opportunity arose. UPD. Well, Google has certainly hidden these settings. For some reason, they are not in the extension management itself, but on a separate page for all extensions at once. But of course it's not your fault, so I'm changing the rating to 5 stars :)

- (2025-04-01) meriem: I like it a lot, it works I'm using it to read webtons in Korean. Just a few suggestion don't mind if you don't want to, it would be cool if the selection can extend as you scroll throu a page and if it could have an on and off button when it's on every image on the page gets it's text extracted and translated. That's all thank you for your hard work and good luck on your endeavors.
- (2025-03-28) yu Yu: This plugin is very useful, thanks to the developer. However, the text within the selected area is displayed in separate segments. How can I select and copy all the text at once? Otherwise, I can only copy them one by one.
- (2025-03-12) maxi: A smooth UI, appropriate response speed, and an app impressive enough to leave an impact.
