This extension adds a toolbar below your address bar and it shows you the latest stock in the dynamic scrolling bar. You get real time information from your favorite stock.
Finance Toolbar is a lightweight and useful add-in designed for getting a quick peek of your favorite stocks. You see a real time stock tracker just below the address bar of your web browser. And it dynamically moves the stocks from right to left. And updates automatically. If you want to know more details about that stock, you can click on the name. It then opens a new page with a detailed information and a stock graph. You can add all stock you want from NASDAQ, S&P Dow Jones, Toronto Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange, etc.

- 1. Doesn't seem to update at the interval you set so you don't know the current price; 2. you have to sign up an expensive API for this to work. Free trial is only 30 days then tick update completely stopped. Not much use.

- POS, I got one stock to update once, and then nothing else... It appears you have to purchase and API subscription, if you do not nothing tells you how to operate this extension successfully without it

- Its not a stock ticker, I got sent to a ad page website and then to another. Multiple popup ads, no way to close them really but if you x them, is says "why this ad?" ( like I am being mean to the ad ) I cant read the page you popped up over. So after closing all the irrelevant tabs I do find a puzzle piece on the browser. I click on it and asks permission to see, read, and change every website I go to. Dying to see the ticker at this point I accept. I gave it permission to spy on me and still did not work. James P.S. Can you imagine walking into a store and having the clerk pin a microphone and tracking bug on you, then share the info with all his friends and tells you its for a better shopping experience.

- Doesn't work properly. Doesn't display prices, just stock symbols, doesn't change speed (only in settings review). No save button in settings so if you open the settings multiple times and have several tabs open, which one does it follow? Poorly designed.

- I wanted to like this, because the setup seems easy, once you figure out how to get to the setup. But after I added a stock to follow, no ticker bar appeared. I don't see what I did wrong. There's a message that says "this project may be closed" due to the "very small number of donations." I would be happy to donate if it actually worked first. Uninstalling for now, and hoping it's back in operation in the future.

- Sneaky, sneaky. I was after an application that can display stock and index quotes in my browser. First I was inclined to build it myself, because how hard can it be? Well, turns out I didn't find the time, so I looked for a useful Chrome Extension to do the trick. This one didn't seem half bad so I added it just to see what would happen. Impressive, they have video tuturials, all the bells and whistles. Nice! The ticker does its thing and looks pretty decent, quintessentially it does what it's supposed to, which is to give me stock and index quotes in my browser. All seemed well. But then I found out I had to add an API key from a pay-for service (even for individual plans). They appeared free in the videos and the written tutorial, but in my experience the service was not free. What I'm referring to is: iex cloud's individual plan, which costs nine dollars a month. I'm not going to pay a monthly subscription of nine bucks to get data that feeds into a chrome extension that displays stock quotes in by browser. Nice try.

- It's ok but the refresh rate doesn't change anything for me. If I were to have it set at 1 second. for example, the stocks would sit stagnant and update sometime in the range of 20 or 30 seconds. I switched the search engine from google to yahoo thinking that would help but it did not. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong here?

- By far the most user unfriendly chrome extension I have experienced. Spent 20 min trying to set it up, which kind of defeats the purpose of a Chrome extension. Needed an API code, lots of click here and there, no code forthcoming. Plan B, uninstall.

- its ok better was then actuall prices from dax or dones jones are loading. so u can implement aktien and etf what u want and can fast search over the toolbar

- Well, it worked for a day. Installed yesterday, no problems. Turned on today, and the ticker just gives me all my stock symbols with no price, percentage, etc. Stocks are all correct, so no idea why that's happening. Uninstalling if it doesn't resolve itself.

- It's a good toolbar, but I am only able to see the tickers and none of the actually prices or percent changes for the day. Would love some advice on how to fix this. I have reset and retried a lot of things under the settings but can't seem to get it to show the price or percent. Please Help!

- Issues with the bar moving youtube search bar and user info on the top right down also, it is not real time. I set the thing for every 10 seconds and the stock remains still
