Description from store
Instantly leave any page, hide your tracks, and keep yourself safe.
Quick Escape adds a discreet panic‑button and keyboard shortcut that:
Replaces the current page with a site of your choice (default: Weather.com).
Deletes the past hour of local traces – history entries, cookies, cache, download records, form fills.
Operates in place whenever possible, so no one sees a tab close and reopen.
Falls back to a new tab + automatic close if the current page blocks injection (e.g., chrome:// pages), ensuring the escape always works.
How to use
Keyboard shortcut: <kbd>Ctrl + Shift + X</kbd> (or <kbd>⌘ + ⇧ + X</kbd> on macOS).
