Description from store
This extension adds basic Markdown-style functionality to websites that do not support any kind of formatting in comments, messages, or internal notes. It detects plain-text patterns like [Example](https://example.com) and converts them into real clickable HTML links — improving readability and usability without requiring any changes to the host website.
Many web apps — including property management systems, CRMs, accounting portals, and support dashboards — provide text fields that allow no formatting at all. This extension enables users to share clean, organized information by writing links in Markdown style. The extension then upgrades those [Label](URL) entries into proper anchor tags on the rendered page.
Markdown is intentionally minimal and human-readable. Even users who do not have the extension installed can still understand and use the content — they’ll see the full link and its label in a readable form. This makes it a safe, non-disruptive enhancement that improves formatting only for those who have opted in.
The extension runs entirely on the client side, requires no configuration, and does not collect or transmit any data. It's designed to work automatically wherever plain-text Markdown-style links are used, enhancing communication clarity and link usability for teams and users working in structured but unformatted environments.
