- (2023-09-20) Sonic The Hedgehog: it dont work also i dont know how to get .smc files?
- (2023-05-17) Oscar Preston: Awesome runs great and even if your on a chromebook there is a way to get the f keys i left a link on how https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1mqRPGgcIw&ab_channel=ChromeOSMadeSimple
- (2022-10-26) Freyja: Unlike what many reviews say, there is a save feature, but only save states, and it doesn't work with chromebooks unless you plug in an external keyboard, as the have no F keys. Additionally, there is no control remapping, no fullscreen, and no config, settings, or options. The emulation runs fantastically well, even on pretty weak hardware. There is a distinct lack of features, so if you don't think sacrificing those is worth the higher performance and offline functionality, I'd suggest using an in browser emulator (assuming you are certain the site being used is 100% safe, and are willing to deal with a lot of ads that can often not be very family friendly. If you are a child then always ask your parent's permission first).
- (2022-05-11) Nathan Classified: What do you want me to say, I just like it :l
- (2021-12-29) Bubba Go video channel alt: i like this! it worked on my chrome os. thank you!
- (2021-04-10) usęr 83łlIɪ97: Does not work. Total bummer. tried two Snes games and I get a white screen. This app could be a data miner.
- (2020-08-16) Season Richards: the only problem im having with it is i cant get the screen to full-screen and after i play for like 5-10 minutes it crashes
- (2019-12-14) KitKatrina: By far the best Snes emulator for chromebook. Just PLEASE add a working save function! I'ts probably not likely since this was last updated in 2015, but still! Full screen would also be nice, But priorities straight, We need saving.
- (2019-11-23) Deion Witcher: idk how to create save states on chromebook, got about three hours into chrono trigger before it froze and i lost all my progress. if you know how to do them please lmk
- (2019-11-21) Eliah Latham: no audio and keeps freezing before i can complete a level
- (2019-07-01) ???????: Runs smooth, but I wish I could set it to full screen and had adjustable controls.
- (2019-05-21) pigmaskplayer: this emulator is pretty good, but what i want to know is: is there any way to use cheats? when i had a wii U, i had earthbound on it, and i got all the way up to the dusty dunes desert before my Wii U decided to break. i want to get back to where i left off without having to go through the rest of the game again
- (2019-05-12) Douglas Wickline: I think this is okay for now... I honestly don't enjoy using a keyboard for playing games on a chromebook unless it's Super Smash Flash 2... I would appreciate it if the option to map inputs for a controller was available already... I feel like it'd make it a bit easier for me to play games like Super Metroid or something. other than that the emulator runs just fine. I haven't experienced any issues like say screen tearing or graphical glitches.
- (2019-03-30) Ran well on my old cloudready device but cannot go into full screen and cannot change horrible controls.
- (2019-03-26) Justin Short: Dear developer, Please add full-screen support. At the very least default the play screen to the center of the window instead of the upper-left, and change the window color to black. Frankly, that's all I have issues with so far. Once that small aspect is added, this is a definite 5* for me.
- (2019-02-22) Nathan Hunter: it runs fine, but i cant change the controls
- (2019-01-18) Chris Deming: no way to configure controller settings makes its pretty much useless
- (2018-11-26) Joe Mann: Currently the best SNES emulator for Chromebooks, and I don't have problems. However, the lack of customization is a pain especially when the "a" button is bound to "d" and "b" is bound to "c" unlike the normal z and x layout. Pro: Only option, and it works Con: No key mapping Edit: Game froze when I tabbed to post this, and the directional keys are actually uhjk instead of arrows. My OCD can't let me play this.
- (2018-10-26) Morio: honestly it doesnt work that good. you should make an emulator that is made for chrome instead of porting one that is made for other platforms. also this would be much better if it had full screen and didnt have the control information covering 97% of the screen at all times forcing me into playing in a tiny box that is hard to see .
- (2018-10-23) Pk Fire: very good, i had accidentally used an N64 rom on it. but it works perfectly fine. :)
- (2018-08-30) Sam Datema: mine just goes blank white when I load the rom. Nothing happens.
- (2018-08-29) Caleb Lampron (Blueninjah): The emulator works fine, the only issues I've had with this were the bad unchangeable controls and the fact that you can't make it full screen. Otherwise, it's not bad.
- (2018-06-11) KillerMic67: I love but.... How to change control?
- (2018-04-24) Fenway Powers: Best emulator on chromebook. But that doesn't excuse that there is no fullscreen, and no personal key bindings. Saving would be much appreciated, since now I have to go into settings on my chromebook to switch the top row to function keys in order to save. Sound is glitchy. Sometimes sound effects don't play, or sound doesn't play at all. 360 controllers work pretty well.
- (2018-03-14) onelame: its the only emulator that works on here for meh chromebook.the game boy was a lie :( wish there was a full screen, but the no lag makes up for it. btw i get my roms from romsmania.
- (2018-03-02) Braulio Vera: My Chromebook doesn't have F keys. Can you find and alternative way to save my game.
- (2018-01-04) JoJoker Pro: good emulator but i wish i could change my controls and play romhacks
- (2017-12-26) Lemur 'N' Lily Pad: how to get full screen? i already have all the roms. is there a good emulator for NES and genisis?
- (2017-11-09) Jason M.: A really good SNES emulator ported to Chrome OS! Only minor issues, like no fullscreen, no saving, and no keyboard bindings. But still, this emulator is a lot better than the others, so kudos to Kyle Ghaehl for bringing Snes9x to Chrome OS!
- (2017-10-19) Josh Wyatt: This port of SNES9X has potential. However, as of now (October 2017), it's not a very great emulator. Games crash often and the sound doesn't work at all.
- (2017-10-08) moist gaming: When i start it up it says plug in not supported HELP!
- (2017-09-10) Moxie: it is a nice emulator with controller support but i don't like is that there are .smc files instead of .zip files because it is really hard to find any roms online
- (2017-08-29) Vincent Lavoie: Works great, it is much better than GPemu. However, it would be great to customize the control keys. But outside of that, everything is good!
- (2017-08-21) alex: its awesome but on a ps4 dual shock controller it only moves with the dpad. other than that its really smooth
- (2017-05-31) Logan Henrie: This is a fantastic emulator, and I don't think that people give it the credit that it deserves. Occasionally the sound will not work when you first load up a game, but after you load it up again it generally works. People complain about lag, and I've never experienced any, and I'm running on a sad little chromebook.
- (2017-04-01) Ryan G. Hughes: It works. But other than that there is little to be had here.Devs haven't updated app in over two years so I think its she to say that this app is dead.
- (2017-01-05) Ramsey Shanbaky: doesn't work. no sound, though the ps3 controller is working. too slow. not playable.
- (2016-11-28) josue ismael perez: cant config controller keys
- (2016-10-18) Kara Rupley: App works well and so far the only snes emulator that has good sound. Three stars is for the fact that it will not go into fullscreen mode.
- (2016-09-29) Frederic Barbe: I used to run flawlessly a snes emulator on my pentium II in 1998 and this app doesn't seem to come even close to that almost 20 years later. Who would enjoy playing on anything but fullscreen, even if that means black sides to respect the 4:3 ration. All that app gives you is a small square. As some other users, I had no sound either. This is garbage!
- (2016-09-18) Alec Ireland: Remember don't pirate.
- (2016-09-15) Wolf Hunter: Its a very nice app, it would be flawless if it would let you save your progress, and play in full screen, please fix for 5 stars
- (2016-08-10) Ryan Whitehead: I've heard its a good emulator so I'm giving it five stars but does anyone know how to switch .zip files to .smc files? If so I'd love to use this app and need help.
- (2016-06-18) Miso Hotsoup: this emulator is perfect at first i didnt have any sound but then i loaded my state and i had sound this app deserves 5 stars
- (2016-06-17) OctoIing Squid: If i were able to full screen, it'd be a solid 5
- (2016-06-07) Ashkhen Minasyan: Such a small sreen...
- (2016-06-06) Allen Parker: perfect
- (2016-05-18) Inoobcannel #XD: Hmmm
- (2016-04-18) Saltpork: Works very nicely, the only issue is the iffy sound, but other than it it's flawless Toshiba CB35-3340; wired xbox360 controller I would like to have the ability to custom map the binds, but that's a minor issue.
- (2016-04-01) Mystichu: Doesn't do ANYTHING! AT all!
