Joey Watts please please please update this extension so that it conforms to Google standards or whatever so this fantastic extension will be re-enabled.
• (2025-06-12) W.O.L.F: When i was talking, my microphone was almost muting itself system-wide, now, thank to this amazing extension, it's now fixed ! Thank you very much ! It was so annoying, and it fixed my issue so i can talk again ! Auto gain control really need to be improved, and at least doesn't act system-wide, when i was talking a bit my microphone was decreasing it's volume from 100% to 26%, and almost nothing is able to hear me correctly at 26%, really, thank you !

• (2025-03-04) Diego San Martin: Latest Chrome update seems to have disabled it but you can look on chrome://flags/ for "Allow WebRTC to adjust the input volume" and set it to "disable" and it seems to do the trick

• (2024-10-15) Nader Ki: Since google is removing the ability for this to work, I looked for and found another way to stop gain control: chrome://flags/#enable-webrtc-allow-input-volume-adjustment simply disable the chrome feature. however this flag is experimental and may not be permanent
