Stanley Svehlà 2025-08-15: Haven't had any problems yet statement credits appear as advertised. Don't know if it was a fluke but got statement credit offer at Lowe's for 30%plus made the purchase and got the credit for that one purchase. Normally get 1.5% back with them.

Bobby Shifman 2025-08-06: Made an order with Shark and never got my credit for the % I was supposed to. Tried calling Citi Shop but they just passed me through to different people that did not understand the Citi Shop program and provided zero help. Total waste of time and expected savings.

Joe Lehning 2025-08-05: Very confusing, but worse than that, the marketing states 20x savings. I purchased from Lowes, which stated appliances 7% off, and when all said and done. Nothing, not a penny savings. I had a windows open in Firefox and it was the same price as with Citi Shop. What a WASTE OF TIME.
David Anderson 2025-08-05: Extension is confusing, hard to tell what discount you're getting or if it's active (without a lot of interaction). Would be nice if it displayed what the discount/rebate was for the item you're looking at. And too liberal permissions request - reading all data!

Shana 2025-07-11: Deleting it minutes after I got it. I can't even load all the participating businesses without the page crashing over and over and over again. Do not recommend. Also, the permissions are super sketchy. I don't trust them.

Katie AndI 2025-04-18: I just added it, but thought I already had it and have been getting pop-ups when I buy things about matching or savings at other locations. It took several tries to get it to actually take me to where it would show me the other seller. Most of the time, I click the link and the listed savings aren't what I would actually end up having to pay, so I waste time looking at the deals that Citi found. I usually just go with the Rakuten extension bc there's a better % back. It has given me an idea of what other companies are charging for the same product, but if it's something like Ebay, the total is based on bidding or has a questionable seller. I want this to be my go to bc it would be more convenient, but so far I haven't gotten better deals.
Lisa Stacy 2025-03-26: I am grateful for the Citi Shop extension. It's easy to use and I like the savings. It's a win-win. It does take a while for the cash back rewards to show up on my Citi Card statement. I recently saved $195 on an expensive mattress. That alone is worth it. Thanks!

I have logged several tickets with them and have yet to hear back about any of them. Most recent one was logged in January, and they do not have an ETA on when they might fix my account. In the meantime, I am not receiving earnings for any purchases I make. When it worked, I loved it. I'd love it to be fixed for my account.

I also experience my current page to be redirected to the citi sign in page because it was logged out. That is a bit strange. What if I was doing something important? :O

True Reviews 2024-10-05: No matter what browser I use, once I finally get signed in, the CitiShop extension tells me that I need to download the CITISHOP extension. I tried removing and reinstalling the extension with the same frustrating results. MAKE IT WORK! Edit: After some time and trouble it finally works. I will update as to the efficacy and functionality after I have had time to use it.
Edyce Winokur 2024-09-13: This extension is great. I just received a statement credit for shopping(online) at Sephora and saved on an expensive concert ticket! It pops up and finds me coupons, in addition to cash back.
G G 2024-09-12: I really like the Citi Shop extension. It works at most of the stores I shop at online and it's very easy to use. I especially like that the cashback that I earn gets sent to me as a statement credit on my credit card.
Tristan Barnum 2024-09-11: This works at so many stores I regularly shop at- like Macy's, Walmart, and Disney Store. It seems to work at more stores than Rakuten or Honey (I've used both). It gives me cash back right into my Citi account, without confusing "points." It finds coupons to save me money too. It's been easy to use and no problems so far. Nice that there's also a mobile version too.
Jane F 2024-07-14: This extension is terrible. Even tho it has been unblocked in AdBlocker it continues to send messages that it is blocked. I am removing CitiShop as it is only a huge annoyance. Capital One works better and has saved me much $$$.

Brent Calderoni 2024-05-14: Great little shopping companion, it automatically finds additional cashback offers as I'm shopping and they stack with my credit card rewards! I love that it directly applies the earnings to my credit card instead of making me go through a redemption process like other similar services do. Very easy and requires almost no mental effort to save money where I'm already shopping.
Ashley Alvarez 2024-04-25: This extension is completely unrealiable. Something in Chrome triggers the ad blocker of the extention to go off when it's not on, and the instructions are followed to a tea. When I'm able to get through that hurdle, the sign on page won't let me sign in, indicating bad login info. If I'm able to get through those two things, it works for a few sites in general for offers, but after visiting a handful of sites the cycle of unrealiability starts all over again. So far, not worth the headache.
Darron Morris 2024-04-12: Tried to use on a few sites does not work to give the extra .1 percent. Leaves my info out on the chrome for others to steal
Work Dembski 2024-04-10: The good part, it was easy to install and log in. But I see no purpose for it. Search returns a very limited number of sites that will give cash back on "eligible" items. Once I get to the website I am usually presented with a popup that says I need to uninstall my adblocker (which is disabled). Some that don't say cash back, do offer cash back when you get to the site. Some that don't say anything about cashback on search page do present a popup when you get to the site, but there is that caveat of "eligible items" Once there, there is no way to see which items are eligible for cash back. On Amazon I get suggestions of other products which always cost more and sometimes are not really the same as what I am looking for. I can't see that this is worth it at all and giving up any thought of browsing history makes it a complete non starter for me. Not sure what fool at CITI bank designed this and thought it was a good idea. I deleted it.
Carlos D 2024-04-07: Sign up and connecting to my account was seamless and easy. The sign up process quickly identified my available citi cards once I logged and connected my account to the savings program. As I visit various retailers to make my usual shopping I get options from Citi Shop program on additional savings or cash-back rewards options at the check out screen. If I ever need to check on it, I can go to my browser extensions and edit or disable if preferred. Looking forward to seeing the savings or rewards add up. Feels similar to the capital one shopping experience - I've always preferred CITI, glad they have their own shopping program now.
