"Download History Cleaner" is a convenient method for erasing your browser's download history within a specified time frame. You have the flexibility to set a custom timeframe on the options page, as well as specify the area (zone) where you want to clear the data.

Regular websites,
Protected websites,
Extension zone
Definitions:
Extension zone: Includes extensions and packaged applications that a user has installed.
Protected websites zone: Encompasses websites that have been installed as hosted applications.

- This extension does exactly what I needed. Much easier than having to insert the java script code to clear the history into my extension. Well done, and the down arrow icon makes sense.

- In MS Edge does nothing. Button click hides the download list from the button bar, but the list ins't emptied.
