Introducing Showdex, an extension for Pokémon Showdown that integrates the Damage Calculator directly into Showdown and automatically syncs during battles, so you can spend less time configuring and more time stratting.
You can easily check calcs at a glance and run 10× the number of calcs you traditionally could. We’ve also packed it with tons of useful info (Smogon page/sets, ability/item/move descriptions) to help you make informed decisions.
It’s like crack, says the dev. Once you give it a try, it’ll be hard to play without it!

- I'm brazilian and started to use this extension by a friend recomendation. I love it! I can't imagine showdown without it anymore. I'm writing this review just to warn you guys about a small "error" (idk if it's an error or not, but let me explain): usually when we terastalize into a different type, the previous stab damage boost is not calculated (Example: If I tera fight crawdaunt, a water/dark pokemon, the Crabhammer and Knock Off damage is reduced on the calculations) and this led me into some chokes/mistakes. I noticed after 1 specific match, but it's alright, my fault anyways. Thanks for the excelent app!

- extremely useful, unfortunately its pretty hard to import any custom sets(unlike the website ver. of the calc), and it doesnt factor in whether tera blast is physical/special, just assumes that its always special.

- Takes some time to get used to, but definitely should be your go-to for quick calcs, as opposed to the clunkiness of the Showdown damage calc website. It's literally impossible to consistently win in random battles without Showdex lol

- makes it very convenient to look for damage calcs on the go, but i wish it would automatically update its predicted moveset as soon as the opposing pokemon plays a move that isn't in the moveset

- choses the complete wrong sets by default. some sets arent even in the calc. using the calc makes you actively worse because you depend on the info they provide, when its inaccurate.

- Extremely Useful, very nice ui, simple to use. I used to manually calc EVERYTHING all the time. Now its rlly fast. Feels kinda cheaty tho so I don't like using it on ranked much.

- Wonderfully helpful. Too bad it's so laggy you'll be timed out half the battles you play just because it freezes the entire site. Not the MENTION the slow-down input lag it creates. Good luck cancelling any moves 💀

- Usually I don't bother rating Chrome Extensions, but this is absolutely phenomenal. It isn't always 100% accurate, sure. But it gives you a list of likely moves the enemy can use for specific Pokemon, including options for different sets (e.g. Bulky Garchomp and Offensive Garchomp), easily gives you an idea of what your best switch-in's are, and has some really cool customization features that I didn't even expect but greatly appreciate. This is something that I feel every player should have, experienced or beginner. Can't wait to see what you do with this, and Happy New Year! P.S. Thank you SO MUCH for the NHKO Label color customization, helped a lot with my colorblindness.
