Lee 2025-10-10: Doesn't work. C&C configured to purge everything on exit of Edge except passwords. I visit oreillyauto.com which saves a cookie. I use C&C to purge (which also exits Edge), reload Edge (opens about:blank), go to edge://settings/privacy/cookies/AllCookies, and there's still a cookie for oreillyauto.com. Even if I run C&C without exiting Edge, the cookie survives. This is the same cookie missed when using Edge's purge-on-exit option, including cookies. Edge's purge-on-exit option is incomplete: cookies remain. C&C doesn't do any better than Edge's purge-on-exit option, so it is worthless, and got uninstalled.
It's 2025-06-10: I love it. This is my first time using it, and I hate it when my browsing history is absolutely clogged. Click and Clean solves that.

C 2024-04-24: I use C&C, and have for many years with great success; I have limited memory on my laptop, so I clean the history often (when it reaches the "99" ) and it keeps my laptop running relatively well. One VERY ANNOYING PROBLEM has now begun, I often get a reminder to update Edge, which IS UPDATED, then when I click on it, it says I have to disable Adremover on the C&C site, which I have and STILL THIS KEEPS POPPING UP. I will be looking for another cleaner if this persists. I have tried to reach the technical department, the messages don't seem to go through.

jon 2024-01-26: click and clean doesnt operate like i remember. the only thing it tried to do was get access to my camera to do something that didnt need to be done so it could spy on me while i endlessly delete duplicate folders with nothing in them and not ever find what ive saved or downloaded when im looking for them because the windows program i cant get off my computer has no cognitive reason i can explain for why it stores files no matter what kind of format or name i give them. theres not one person ive ever met in any company or college or burger joint that knows how all the useless **** really works and it doesnt make life simpler or make things in life more convenient but the exact opposite. now every single task you do is turned into a trivial pursuit to find passwords and codes and verifications to prove what you used to manage just fine with a bank a pen and paper and your ability to use your brain to plan future events. why because you had time in your life to live un supervised greed

Leider vergeht kein Tag ohne irgendwelche Erinnerungen oder Benachrichtigungen oder Tipps, obwohl ich Benachrichtigungen explizit abgestellt habe. Ständig soll ich überprüfen, ob ich Apps noch nutzen will (was geht das Click&Clean an?), oder werde mit anderen sinnfreien Hinweisen genervt. Schlechter ist nur noch der Support, den ich deswegen bereits zweimal kontaktiert habe. Reaktion : absolut keine ! Das ist mehr als jämmerlich.

I used to use it years ago and it was so easy, but now every time I try to use it this extension opens other web pages that have nothing to do with what I want to do or check. All I see is what looks like ads for other extensions, etc. I used to like this extension but not now and I'm going to search for another cleaning extension because Click & Clean opens way too many useless pages.
