Refresh unlimited POP3 email accounts of Gmail with a frequency of one minute for free.

Image from store Gmail POP3 Auto Refresh
Description from store This extension will automate the refresh of emails from the third-party server to your Gmail every minute. There is no need to do anything else. If you are using Gmail POP3 emails to retrieve emails from other email accounts, you may have noticed that it sometimes checks for new emails very slowly. With Gmail POP3 Auto Refresh, you can refresh an unlimited number of POP3 email accounts at a rate of one minute for free. It will open Gmail on the right page and automatically refresh POP3 emails. Just leave this page open and open a new one to view your emails which will finally be up to date! You can change the refresh time, the user selected and the class for selector with the options of the extension. Feedback and comments are welcome. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any problems. I will see your email very soon because I use my own extension!

  • (2025-06-04) Guido Potena: Works good, but after last update I always get multiple tabs open (even 4,5 tabs) and it's quite annoying. It would be great to have that bug fixed. Thank you!
  • (2025-05-28) Steve Jones: I love this plugin, but lately I'm also experiencing the issue where it opens multiple tabs which is making me consider removing the extension. It generally work well for me.
  • (2025-05-26) Esko Toivonen: Works really well, but it's a bit annoying that it keeps opening those "extra" settings tabs in Chrome. Any news on this update? Thanks!
  • (2025-04-07) Mathieu Pé (Matjö): Why is it opening many Settings tabs? I end up with like 5 gmail tabs open. only one of them is my inbox.
  • (2025-03-13) Owen Billcliffe: Works really well, when I've got it set up right! For some reason a recent update made it a bit temperamental on my computer but I've removed and re-installed and it seems to be working great again.
  • (2025-03-12) Fat Guru: Was working fine but is now asking for new permissions to read browsing history. What is the reason this permission is needed?
  • (2025-03-10) Robin Hilder: This stunningly good route to solving the problem of tardy calling down of 3rd party email accounts by Gmail. Simple to use and very reliable
  • (2025-03-10) Rene Slootbeek: Does exactly what it means to do. No setup or the need of open settings tabs, the only disadvantage you always need a running chrome browser. 👍👍👍
  • (2024-02-25) ATX: This has never worked for me. Even opening setting myself to the fetch-button setting page wont make it work. P.S. In my context I have multiple gmail accounts opened in the session, might be why...
  • (2024-02-02) Michal Šotola (Šotek): Works like a charm 👍 Thanks, developers!
  • (2024-01-22) John TeSelle: Works well for me. Love it. Two things that I learned: - You need to have the settings dialog page open in a tab at all times for it to work. I usually have Gmail open in its own window. Now I have that and also a separate tab with just the settings page for "accounts and import" open in it. If you click on the icon for the extension it opens up this tab for you. - In the Edge browser, be sure to turn off the "sleeping tabs" feature because that will disable the tab that has the settings page open. Perhaps other browsers have something similar.
  • (2024-01-04) İzzet Kaston: Why sometime it doesn't check about one hour?
  • (2023-08-07) Fania Livio: I love this plug-in! Absolutely wonderful. I also leave one pinned tab with Gmail settings and then use Gmail in an unpinned tab. Thank you Evan for your great work

  • (2023-06-20) Ben Kim: Works as it should. It splits your gmail tab in half and creates a new window with gmail settings. Then I guess it uses a macro to just press the Check Mail for you every minute. I like it because It constantly refreshes it every 30 seconds for me. Annoying that the settings tab has to be open for the extension to do its work but at least its a very basic and working solution. Big efficiency!

  • (2023-06-05) Ezra Siton: Not really a solution (What about GMAIL on mobile apps? / Web browser) - without any warning in the setting ("hello we will not check pop3 bye bye"). But for desktop works fine (Google should be a shame for this MEGA BUG).

  • (2023-06-04) Ryan Roosa: It's quite silly that Google won't fix their POP3 refresh algorithm or add a Gmail app/site button to allow more frequent mail checks on POP3 accounts. This extension is a life saver. If it helped you like it did me, consider writing a positive review here and/or tipping the developer at pay pal dot me slash evanjuge .

Merci !!!

  • (2022-09-01) Benjamin Davoult (X-Benn): Seems to work as intended : when the timer comes to 2 minutes, it checks the mails, then resets the timer to 0 minute.... as it should be by default without any extension... anyway, thanks to the dev! Merci beaucoup.

  • (2022-08-25) Arlo Arlo: I've ran several emails through this extension and it works as described. In my view, the extension is "under developed" by the fact that you must launch the extension, by clicking on it top right each time you want it to work with Gmail and, that the browser tab that opens as a result, must stay open during the time you want the extension to work. That part seems like it could be better developed. I noticed that after manually launching the extension once - then closing out Chrome and relaunching Chrome again, the browser tab for the extension automatically launched by itself. At that time I hadn't even logged into my gmail account yet. That practice worries me and feels like it has privacy challenges.

  • (2022-05-11) Jim Smith: Works, but one thing should be noted, which is stated in the description but it's not really obvious. In order for the extension to work, the Settings->Accounts page must remain open. That's fine, just have 2 pages open, one for your inbox, one for the settings page. I also find that it checks mail more frequent than the 1 minute stated. This may eventually be flagged as abuse by Google and your account may be blocked from checking for 24-hours. Not sure if this is my fault somehow or the developer.
