  • (2021-03-21) Nate Welch: Simply fast and reliable. Everything you'd want. I have had no issues what so ever. Also, it offers lots of customization.
  • (2021-03-16) Reto Roncelli: Very good RDP client. Unfortunately, no two-finger scrolling since Chrome OS 89. Therefore 1 star deduction.
  • (2020-12-03) Spityou: when i downloaded it i have a running rdp i downloaded my rdp file and i selected the rdp file in the app and i pressed connect and it would not connect for some reason it would not connect i dont know if this is a bug or something my rdp works but i dont know why if anybody knows how to fix this please help me
  • (2018-09-19) Uzi Forex: I must review my previous comment Probably I made something wrong, because now it works fine and IT IS A REAL SPARK, MUCH QUICK AND BETTER THAN CHROME RDP !
  • (2018-07-05) Pearl Nukeri: this one true app for Chromebook the best
  • (2018-03-25) nucleargain: I see and i respect other's opinions, but I wasted days and days searching for and testing similar apps, and Spark View is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF ALL
  • (2018-02-05) Junseo Lee: It works very well.
  • (2017-11-08) Brian Newman: This is of absolutely no value on an internal network, where my servers are not exposed to inbound connections from the internet.
  • (2016-01-20) Erryn Stamp: It works, but I don't trust it. Not ok with the proxy and the application you can download to make your own gateway is really lacking in documentation and any pricing.
  • (2015-12-28) Yashodhan Gharat: Only app I found in Web Store that works behind company firewall for remote access....using it as HTML5 RDP Client...Thanks
  • (2015-12-13) Techno Gaming Slutz: It works as described, not sure if it is safe to use or not across a third party proxy...
  • (2015-11-19) Ben Woods: Routes RDP through a proxy potentially stealing your info in the process. Just use the Chrome RDP app. It is NaCL and actually secure.
  • (2015-10-03) Joshua Brodie: Fake. Doesn't work and probably steals passwords.
  • (2015-08-26) Ning Cao: good
  • (2015-08-25) Manfred Schroeder: Doesn't work
  • (2015-07-19) p kotian: waste. not working
  • (2015-05-18) Eduardo A: Maybe if you try to create a cut down version just html5 client, not the server part... Bad business approach...
  • (2015-04-22) Zhiming Zhou: All connections are through Spark View proxy, useless in local network
  • (2015-03-12) Sofia Martinez: its fake

  • (2014-10-14) Louise Palmer: Does not work on the computer i am using google chrome when i went to the app store it says it will convert and didnt do it
  • (2014-05-22) Connor Beatty: IT WILL NOT download my virtualbox. Thanks for the help!
  • (2014-02-20) Zxya Ayx: Wonderful that it can't run.
  • (2014-01-22) Joyce Steyn: Not working for me. Not NOOB friendly
  • (2013-08-21) Bob Compagnoni: excellent app. gets me through in situations where rdp/3389 are blocked
  • (2013-07-17) Paul Kelly: Installed it before I realized that it needs a web connection and captures all my information. Since I will not have a web connection most of the time this has zero value to me.
  • (2013-05-31) Another RDP app that redirects you to the vendor's website to proxy _through_ them. Works great as long as you don't mind them knowing your password and being able to see everything you're doing.
  • (2012-11-14) Why should I install a server component to just access another computer in my LAN? This app is crap.
  • (2012-10-26) Anders Vännman: missing swedish keyboard...
  • (2012-10-21) Jesus Malena: Don't get me wrong. The application does do what it says it does, but it is a little deceptive when you claim that there is no need to install anything on the client or the server side. Yes you don't have to install anything on the client or server side, but you have to install a gateway service on some system in your environment. Besides this little technical tidbit, which would save many of your users the hassle to search through your documentation to make the app work, the application does work like it is described. Like other users suggested, it would be nice to have your RDP sessions saved to Google Drive.
  • (2012-09-24) Markus Mobius: This is a very good app. I am using the free version (without NLA unfortunately). We also have a paid version at the NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) for researchers to connect to Windows machines from the outside. Two suggestions to the developer: 1) Can you use Chrome's native client to implement without an intermediate server? I would gladly pay $5-$10 for an RDP implementation (INCLUDING NLA) which does not require an intermediate server. For example, I need NLA to connect to my university server, but I haven't succeeded in convincing the administration to purchase a campus or department license for several hundred dollars. However, I know multiple colleagues you would pay $10 for an NLA enabled version which runs straight from Chrome. 2) In case 1) gets implemented, can you store settings on Google Drive? That would allow for automatic syncing across all Chrome installations. A native client version would immediately open the app for many less technical users who cannot install the server component required for the current app. Of course, this would only run on Chrome unless FF implements native client, but I think it would be one of the most useful apps on Chrome.
  • (2012-08-31) Bryan Hoffower: Excellent software if you already have an RDP solution for your servers. I use this when hiding behind my work proxy to view my home servers and it works perfect.
  • (2012-07-09) Aaron Bond W1ATB: While it takes a little bit of technical ability to get this up an running , this is a great solution to getting "RDP" on your Chromebook. The "server" component will run on just about Windows or Linux box, and installs pretty easily. SSL take a little work to get going, but any techie can figure it out. Awesome job! Works on just about any HTML5 webbrowser - including chromebooks!
  • (2011-12-29) Joel Hymen: Works great on my CB. Simple way to log in to my statics.
  • (2011-12-18) Jose Linares: works well but a bit slow but still better than many other apps I've installed from the chrome web store.
  • (2011-12-15) Rick Romano: so far works great when logging into windows server 2008
  • (2011-11-21) Chris Kyrouac: Took a little more setup than I would have liked. Also, some of the doc is out of date (e.g. there is now a .bat which installs the service, no manual installation necessary). With that being said, this is the only and therefor best free option of an HTML5 RDP implementation I have found. Nice work.
