Description from store
Make Salesforce sharing simple! This extension adds a handy “Sharing” button directly to Salesforce Lightning and Classic record pages, so you can quickly open record sharing details without digging through menus.
This idea was inspired by a previous extension that’s no longer available on the Chrome Web Store. Since the original code wasn’t accessible, this new version was carefully recreated from scratch to continue serving the Salesforce community.
⚠️ Important Notes
• This project is Open-source, you can check the code here: https://github.com/renan-brasilio/sf-sharing-button. Although Google mentions that we can collect data from Salesforce sites, we don't; we simply use the URLs to determine if you're in a Salesforce environment and activate the extension. We only retrieve the ID of the record to build the Sharing link.
• Independent Project – This extension is not developed, endorsed, or affiliated with Salesforce.com, Inc. It’s an independent, open-source project.
• Sharing Rules – The button only works if the Salesforce object has sharing enabled (set to Private in your org’s sharing settings). If the object is Public Read/Write or Public Read Only, the button won’t show sharing details.
✨ Features
• One-Click Access – Instantly open sharing details for any record.
• Works Everywhere – Compatible with both Salesforce Lightning and Classic.
• Smart Detection – Automatically picks up record IDs from different page URLs.
• Fallback Support – Adds a floating button if the global actions menu isn’t available.
• Dynamic Updates – Stays functional even as you move between pages.
• Seamless Look – Matches the style of your Salesforce interface automatically.
