- (2025-05-19) Andy Mussell: Does exactly what is wanted from a system viewer, perhaps SSD info would be usefull too? Do you do an Android version? Chrome application support is due to cease. Acer Chromebook Vero 514
- (2025-01-05) Thomas Traynor: Simple app showing what I need to see. The only requests are - Something on the memory tab to show small indicators for gigs used - Something on the CPU use (25, 50, 75, 100) to quickly see rather than guess. - For long text a toggle to show/hide the details.
- (2024-07-30) SCI Aatif Farooq: No doubt it's a great app for Chromebook, it shows most of the stuff in one place. The one thing that i missed here is internal storage. That should also be mentioned here. Also in network section, it should mention that if the device support Bluetooth, Lan, Wifi with yes no kind of table that will become a great plus.
- (2024-05-24) Krunal Patel: This was/is great extension to use it's data about the ChromeOS for great information and troubleshooting.
- (2024-03-13) Wesley Griffiths: This has been a useful app on my Chromebook. I'm not sure what to replace it with when Chrome apps stop being supported next year.
- (2023-04-13) David Klement: Thanks a lot. Simple and great tool.
- (2023-01-21) Orange County VITA: Great tool. Request: show model & serial number. And save info to csv file, with or without headers, and with default filename <SerialNum>.csv (or .txt). Or does anyone know any way to do something similar to gather info to enter into an inventory spreadsheet (for non-enterprise collection of chromebooks)? -Thanks!
- (2022-11-07) HealthyHappyNature Home: Thank you, François Beaufort, for providing "Cog - System Info Viewer," so that users are able to view storage space information related to -- and other information about -- their device that uses the Chrome Operating System. And thank you for making this Chrome OS app available on an honor system, accessible to everyone including those without discretionary income. All the best. 😊 https://github.com/beaufortfrancois/cog-chrome-app
- (2022-10-30) Paul Edward: I'm going to give it 5 stars because I don't believe in holding ⭐s ransom in exchange for the fulfillment of feature requests but if I were not so inclined I would give it 4 stars and say that the 5th will be delivered upon the inclusion of peripheral device hardware Information, specifically the USB type of attached peripheral devices. I can do this on my Linux PC natively but I'm trying to acquire this information on a ChromeOS Pixelbook and it's proving to be difficult. I was hoping this web app would help me get there - alas that's not the case but it's a good product all the same. Since I am so inclined and as such rated your app according to the description and how well executes what it does do, I'll just nicely ask you to consider adding the feature if feasible and at your earliest convenience and if not... well, thanks anyway I suppose
- (2022-10-03) Jose Cardenas: It provides more info than the usual Chrome admin. If you want to change your temps from F° to C° just click on the temps.
- (2022-08-02) Tony Zhu: Great Little App. You get all the basic info at a glance. i do hope it can give more specific numbers for CPU & RAM Usage. Temp in available in C or F, which is great. But, at the moment, it defaults to F. (You can change it by clicking on the Temp Numbers) (Although, I don't think the App defaulting to F is the intended behavior according to the Change Log.)
- (2022-06-27) RedFoxGaming: Great app! Worked for a while until I factory reset my Chromebook. Now, it shows only two of my cpus are working (when I'm fairly sure all four are), any way to fix this (or lmk if it's a computer problem and that I should be very concerned)
- (2022-05-08) S. ayres: its usefull, but i would like if there was an option ofr celcius
- (2022-04-26) claudio gonzalo: THE BEST . great design
- (2022-04-02) B C: Love this app! It is exactly what I needed!
- (2022-04-01) Sinh Văn Bá: It is a really useful app in Chromebook, but it needs an update.
- (2022-01-19) Gerardo Barcenas Jr.: Loved how simple and aesthetic it is. I only wish there was a way to change the temperature unit to Celsius (Metric)
- (2021-11-30) Duckets McQuackin (Ryan): it was okay app but it misreads my used ram amount on my Lenovo Duet built in diagnostics tells me 2.5GB used yours says 3.8
- (2021-11-29) Ola Winje: excellent - love it
- (2021-11-14) Abner Diaz: Awesome tool, I can check ram info and battery info easier now. Thanks!
- (2021-07-13) bahrta sai: Much better than Chrome OS's builtin diagnostics tool. I only gave 4 stars because it needs to show internal storage too (ROM). An option to click on them show more details/open relevant folder would be nice too.
- (2021-07-13) Adam Jacobson: Fast and handy, except for the default Fahrenheit rubbish.
- (2021-06-14) M. Weiner: I just wanted a way to easily check Chromebook's temps, the added features make this a great little tool! Info on OS, version, architecture, CPU usage, memory, internet/network, battery status, level and time remaining, display, primary language and plugins.
- (2021-05-20) David Griffin: Really nice knowing when memory's running out and when a busy website is hoovering up CPU time. memory gives me a good clue when I should trigger "one tab" utility to park excess windows. Works in Windows too, but on my i9 box it shows 16 active cores which I'm sure is not correct (but might be). Since putting "cloudready" on a few old machines it's been great to see how hard they are are working.
- (2021-05-18) noel hodson: Excellent app, recommend it.
- (2021-04-08) That_one_planet: The app is great but it doesn't have show the percentages so I can't quite no how much I have or am using
- (2021-03-28) Joe Thomas: A very useful system info app, but how do I change the temperature from F to C?
- (2021-03-12) Cobra: This app is so cool. I didn't know anything like this existed for chromebooks. Also for more information do chrome ://system . Suggestion: allow the copying/pasting/highlighting of elements within the app. Also, the RAM usage seems to be locked at 3.795GB and I'm not sure why.
- (2021-02-12) Francisco Verdeja: Great app but doesn't let me change the temperature to Celsius
- (2021-01-05) Edmond Cote: Not clear which temperature sensors are for CPU and which for case. Case in point, this chromebook has 4 physical cores, but there are 6 sensor values. None are labeled. Not bad otherwise.
- (2020-12-30) Hugues Cieutat: It is a really noce designed app. Thank you (indeed if T could be in C°).
- (2020-11-23) C SUN: Wonderfully informative to help me keep tabs on how the Chromebook is performing. Wondering if there will be any updates any time soon? [fingers crossed] Is there a donation site for help support the dev?
- (2020-11-06) Samuel Papineau (Paps): Why is temperature not in international unit (°C)? Either offer different options or change it for normal people please.
- (2020-09-27) Kuhen Arunan: Perfect for use on my Chromebook. Love the new CPU temperatures, could we also have the option to change it to Celcius? Would be perfect
- (2020-09-18) Luke H: Fastest way to see chromebook specs
- (2020-09-07) Felipe Calderon: Easy to follow once I realized it was an app and not an extension.
- (2020-09-03) Martin Lendvay: Fantastic app
- (2020-08-31) Hayward Williams IV: Not seeing the cpu temp.
- (2020-07-28) Reuben Butzbach: 100% accurate but it cant seem to find the cpu temp which was the 1 thing i was looking for im trys game on my chromebook with amd A4 apu
- (2020-07-17) Victor Feng: Makes my life so much easier, as ChromeOS doesn't have anything like this built in. Love it!
- (2020-03-10) Zyda Hassiem: cool app
- (2020-02-21) Rita Mello: Very good app!
- (2020-01-26) Alex Yapjoco: Just what I was looking for in an app that shows the system info on your chromebook. Easy peasy and looks great!
- (2020-01-18) Wsb: love this app
- (2020-01-07) THE REAL DIRTY DAN: It's pretty good but needs to be updated to fix bugs and give more features. Right now it is only showing using for two of four cores where many months ago it was able to display usage on all 4 cores. A network activity bar/graph would be great. Overall it isn't bad but needs fixes and features.
- (2019-12-26) Pete B.: Excellent and vital little app. Thanks.
- (2019-12-17) Nevell Harris: Great app, almost perfect, would love storage stats and network stats included here (download/upload).
- (2019-12-07) Josiah Keeler: Clean looking application that monitors all my vitals. Wish the colors were customizable, but it's still an amazing app.
- (2019-11-20) Dan Dascalescu: No info under "Temperatures" on a Pixelbook. Also, no visible scrollbar! I thought the first screenful was all it would display.
- (2019-10-03) Mark B: Love this app extension along with sysinfo
