This extension enables browser activity sharing for the ProctorExam online proctoring platform. Browser activity can only be shared by starting an online proctored exam on your-institution.proctorexam.com, so you don't need to worry about sharing unintentionally.
By installing this extension, you are giving ProctorExam permission to view your browsing activity during an online proctored examination.
FOR TEST TAKERS:
Once you have installed the extension, please go back to the system check and refresh the page, or complete : 'STEP 1 - complete the system check' in the email you have received about your exam.

- If negative rating available, I could have given. In the age of super intuitive apps and sites, they are still running in 90s. After even add chrome no next step for system verification, whether its completed or not no one knows. ANd lastly I missed exam, as i didn't get my exam link.

- Tazeen was not helpful at all after I asked what the alternate options were due to the fact I did not possess a secondary device capable of installing their app. They were also super evasive about providing any other information. Terrible company and I will be sending an email to my school to encourage them to drop this company.

- THIS IS THE MOST SHOCKING THING IVE COME ACROSS... microphone apparently doesn't work. I know for sure it does because I've tested it and it does work. I am not allowed to do my exam now so which means instant fail... I have studied my butt off for months just to get an instant fail because the software or extension they have provided doesn't work. Absolutely shocking. I have proof that I've done all their so called 'Troubleshooting' that doesn't work. PROCTOR EXAM is the site I have to use to do my exam, the AI chat assistance is even worse. I spent all weekend trying to "FIX" my fully working laptop.. they even told me to disable my firewall and anti-virus which to no surprise didn't work!!!

- I have designed UI before - this is the most non-intuitive extension that I have ever seen. Chat assistance is probably AI and has a script. Scrollbar in the chat window does not work. You have to make notification adjustments in settings to go through the setup steps. The instructions given to users are unhelpful.

- I have it downloaded on Chrome, it says it is enable. But it won't work once I try to load the website to take the exam.

- Was failed because I wore headphones on both exams I took. Complete waste of £500. The PC compatibility test even had a SOUND TEST! Could it be any more vague?!

- i never write review on extensions. but this is a terrible extension. my external microphone is working fine in windows i am able to test and record but this extension cannot detect the volume. After spending 1 hour with technical support, it was simply due to my external speaker connected to headphone jack. If you are using external speaker for exam via 3.5mm input for pc and also external mic. the mic will not work. YOU WILL NEED USB EXTERNAL SPEAKER.

- Went to sit my exam at 12.30, done a system check days before, done a system check today to check i was good to go, kept telling me to download the extension but when i clicked on the link it went back to something id already downloaded, no one to contact so i have missed my exam now. reloaded the page kept getting the same message at a loss what i can do now.

- I have been trying for hours to setup the proctor exams but its very frustrating and when i emailed the team no response from them either. It is very complicated as everything has been done according to the instructions but the chrome is failing to recognise it has been installed, which leaves me not being able to sit the exam for the second time which is none of my fault. I think this is not fair after giving me the date to sit the exams plus no one called to check once the time to do the exams was up. Very disappointing, i would have given no stars at all if that was an option.

- I've tried reinstalling downloading restarting the system for the last 45 mins and the app does not recognise the extension has been downloaded , this is the last thing you need before an exam. Cant seem to move to the next page the help wont work, speak to an agent wont work . ...

- Took 15 mins for website I was taking my test on to recognise that I did actually have the extension, tried reloading the page, uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, everything I could think of, not the kind of stress you want before an exam!

- easy enough to figure it out, yet at the QR section it got a bit confusing as you have to scan another QR, will be useful if the system mentioned, once you downloaded the app on your phone proceed and click next then you will find another QR to scan to link your phone.

- I would never allow an app this intrusive and insecure on computers at my company. The camera and microphone demands conflict with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. Nor can I run this securely in an incognito window in order to isolate this from attempting to poke around my computer.

- It demands numerous login attempts and demands Chrome which should be removed immediately after this drill. It just generates attempts to get online help. Once loaded for the system check, you can click it all you wish, but it just hangs up. Now I have to hope that it works.

- a very very poor app, instructions are not helpful stuff missing like how to link the second camera to the call, and it wont allow you to download onto a laptop for the second camera. says should get a email 72 hours before got mine under 24 hours before. Wouldn't use this if I wasn't being made to do so

- This is not user friendly! I am trying to conduct a test ready at the location to were i'll be conducting the online exam, however the app isn't working properly and i'll be away on the course, now unable to conduct the test until the weekend before. So what happens if this isn't test ready? It all a bit last minute and it's not the preparation you what before hand. Sorry guys considering this is the only platform the course are offering it's a bit rubbish
