Adds a volume controller to the Audible webplayer.
Audible Volume Control is an extension that was created because I personally was tired of not being able to control the volume when using the Audible web-player.
At the time of writing this, Audible has just announced that they are discontinuing their native Audible app for Windows (it will probably be replaced with the Android version in Windows 11). Soon, the only option will be the web-player.
Should work for all domains.

Very cool. Audible would always blow me out of my chair with volumes so much higher than streaming services and my DVD player app. I was a programmer for 15 years and cannot imagine who thought it would be a good idea to leave out a "pre-amp volume control".

It is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD that I have to install an extension made by someone else to control the volume in this garbage player app from this absolutely garbage audiobook company. I 100% regret starting my audiobook collection in audible. Absolute trash. Thank you to the extension writer for resolving an issue that should never have existed in the first place.

I've only just started using Audible and I almost cancelled because of this feature (or lack of). It might seem like a tiny thing but, if you're trying to listen to an audiobook while working on other things that also require audio on the same computer, it makes for a very irritating experience - constantly adjusting the computer volume, ugh! Thank you so much! Audible owe you big time!

I installed this because Audibles web player pretty much yells into my ears, and for an audio based program, to not have sound control, is very odd. So I installed this extension so I could lessen the volume without turning down the master volume on my computer. Love it!!

Thanks for making this. It is utterly bizarre to me that audio-focused web players are missing this functionality. Bandcamp is another one one needs an extension for for volume control.

In moments, I had it installed, restarted the player, and can now control the player's volume without having to affect anything else's volume! You deserve a Nobel Prize, perhaps for Literature.
