- Extension is corrupted but can't uninstall it to reinstall it. Spent hours working to fix it. The solution was to install the development version https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/google-security-key-exten/ckcendljdlmgnhghiaomidhiiclmapok

- Works.

- Same issue here. It shows that the extension is already installed and I am not able to "gcert" and use my Cloudtop. I received the same error as Wenming Huang.

- Same here, gcert broke down since yesterday 9/12 because of this extension.

- CRD demands security key extension, even though I have it. *gcert* not working anymore. Errors: [gnubby] could not create SSO session: [gnubby] cannot connect to ssh-agent: cannot connect to SSH_AUTH_SOCK /tmp/chromoting.wenmh.ssh_auth_sock (try restarting your local ssh-agent following http://go/gnubby/debugging#restart-ssh-agent ): dial unix /tmp/chromoting.wenmh.ssh_auth_sock: connect: no such file or directory After I re-installed skagent and restarted my machine, still got the same error.

- I am experiencing same issue mentioned by below reviewers. It is asking me to install extension every single time. Could you please fix this issue on priority, as it seems many users are facing this issue. Many might have not reported it.

- Experiencing same issue as last 4 individuals. Would've given 0 stars if there was an option.

- Keep saying need to update the extension but it was already installed and can't be reinstalled. And there's no apparent way to manually remove it then reinstall. Update Edit: I just ignored the updating note and went ahead using the CRD. Sometimes when strange issue may happen, such as cannot use open VPN on the remote machine, cannot pass auth or using Gnubby, a workaround I have been found was to rebooting both local and the remote machines.

- Not working, Chrome Remote Desktop is constantly prompting me to install this extension, which won't install, and I can't run gcert after. Sometime after reinstallying gnubby or completely cleaning up Chrome, it installs, and the next day, it's the same, it's asking me to install it again, and it won't install.

- CRD keeps saying security key extension required, even though it exists. Never seen this before. Now Im unable to gcert - does not prompt for my security key touch. Nothing in go/crd-faq helped
- Neil Hendin
- Keeps asking to install itself even after installed, and doesn't work at the moment.
- Rahul Bali
- Few issues sometimes.
