PDF to Image — Offline

PDF to Image: turn any PDF into a scanned-look PDF with rasterized pages. Offline, simple UI.

Note: The output remains a PDF file, but each page is an image (rasterized). Text selection and search will not work.

• Select a PDF, adjust the quality with a single slider
• Optionally open Advanced to tweak DPI and JPEG compression
• Get a new PDF where each page is rasterized with subtle scan artifacts (paper tint, slight blur, vignette, grain)

Everything runs locally in your browser. PDF text is converted into images, making the output visually similar to a real scan.

Technical details:
• Rendering: pdf.js (with a packaged worker)
• PDF assembly: pdf-lib (each page is an embedded JPEG at the chosen DPI)
• Manifest V3 with a restrictive CSP; the worker is declared as a web-accessible resource
