🎉This extension works almost like the old download tray but with some modern takes🎉

Since it is in BETA expect some features not to work as intended.
Features:

DRAG AND DROP:
Drag and drop files displayed in the tray into windows explorer.
Drag and drop images into the chrome browser to display pictures.

FILE DOWNLOAD:
Downloads the file with an green progress bar, when it is done downloading the progress bar turns light blue.
Cancel download, press the x to stop the current download.

TRAY BUTTONS:
Press the x button all the way to the right in the tray to close it down.
Open Downloads folder button, currently opens the document folder on your pc.

EXTENTION TOOL DROPDOWN:
Opens a small window to turn the extension on or off.

What this extension cannot do:

The extension cannot drag and drop files into websites to upload it to the website.

The extension cannot make the default google download bubble disappear

The extension cannot drag and drop files into programs.

Known bugs:
The extension also sometimes seems to re-download the file if drag and dropped into a windows folder.

- (2025-07-05) Christopher Landry: If you can make this persistent across all Chrome tabs and windows, it would be great. I'm giving it 2 instead of 1 because it did pop up a tray when the download started, as intended, so if I had wanted to keep that tab open it might have been useful.
