You can use all features supported Markdown in Trello:
1. Make text bold, italic
2. Heading
3. Quote
4. Lists
5. Images, links

David Bakkers 2021-04-06: Works fairly well, but only on the card's Description field, not the Comments. Still a few early bugs: - Causes the Description's Save button to remain on the screen, so the only way to end the editing of the Description is to close the card. - Sometimes the Save button appeared with "Add card" text inside. - Adding hyperlinks produces random results. - Empty Descriptions show two edit buttons, one of which can't be clicked - Side-by-Side view. once selected, can't be escaped Needs some refinement, but it's a good start.
