- Thank you for freeing me. Would be handy if you there was a way of removing the thousands upon thousands chrome has added already... seriously google.. huge security issue here.

- Excellent! I personally use the search engine keyword feature a lot (e.g. g for Google, d for dictionary.com, wk for Wikipedia, wa for WolframAlpha, so for StackOverflow, etc.) and I hate sites randomly polluting my search list with entries I don't want. Would highly recommend. Edit: as of 2022 Chrome comes with a similar feature built-in - search engines are added but are "inactive" until explicitly activated by the user in Chrome settings. I think it's an arguably better implementation, which is why I will no longer be using this extension. Still, thank you Mr./Mrs. developer for your extension's great service!

- Works as advertised – honestly I'm surprised that most people don't seem bothered by having their search lists constantly bombarded, but to each their own I suppose. Anyway, yes this extension works. Thanks author!

- What a time saver, of course Google would require an extension to disable a bad feature...

- Seems to work as advertised. I have visited and searched on CNN, Reddit, and Yahoo and no search engines have been added to Chrome. Thank you. Will update if anything changes.

- Chrome's default behavior is unacceptable, this is a life saver. Honestly. If I wanted to add search engines, I would add them manually. Thank you for making this extension.

- Great! Now I don't have to deal with typing "s" and having a million search engines coming up.

- WARNING! THE EXTENSION HAS MALWARE!! The extension has recently added malware that makes a browser redirect when you search google, and redirects you to an identical-looking page, that has another domain name... you can see this yourself, by doing the following: 1) add extension 2) use ctrl+k to search google in the omnibar, enter search term and hit "enter" 3) the google search loads. Go to a another tab. now go back to the tab with the google search. now the page has reloaded with another domain name than google.

- I've had this thing installed for years and just forgot about it. I just checked and not a single extra search engine clogging up the list of ones I've curated and custom configured!

- This is the most amazing add on I have ever used.Thank you so much guys.It has blocked every search engine I usually get a big list under my default search engine and this has blocked every one.I don't usually do reviews on extensions but this has to have one.I am on windows 7 and in the UK if that helps anyone out. Big thanks again as I usually spend on and off the whole day keeping search engines from taking over.
