A simple extension that lets you hide yourself/any video in Google Meet video calls. Others in the call will still be able to see videos you hide.

Controls:

Ctrl-B to hide/unhide the top-right self-view

Ctrl-Click on a video to hide/unhide

Can also be controlled within extension's popup

name name 2020-10-29: this very much helped me be less anxious on google meets when having to show my face and even if you dont care when people see your face i recommend using it as its feature to hide people can be useful in meets where you might be lagging or getting distracted. 12/10 extension would download again
