It stored them in the wrong vault (even though the correct one was selected) AND failed to update the password after setting a new one, so I had to contact the admins to reset it for me. Not recommended at all!

(2024-07-14) DAN: Great when and where it works, but unpredictable depending on the platform you are on at the time. The extensions approach has not been a help to me. Setup variable, tedious. And passkeys? Nice when they work but was this worth all the hype and the delays and, oh well.

(2024-07-03) JJ: Hi! I was responsible for bringing 1Password into my work environment, and for training users on how to use it. I also use it at home, because 1Password Business gives you a Family account for free. I used to use the likes of KeePass for my password management needs, but 1Password is worth the money. It is so incredibly convenient. I am not being paid to write this review. It is sincerely an awesome piece of software. My favorite feature by far is how easy it is to create 2FA/TOTP passwords, and to autofill them for you. Give this password manager a shot if you're on the fence!

(2024-05-14) Shawn: Absolutely the first thing I install on anyone's new computer or phone. The extension works a charm, teaching non-technical folks is straight-forward, and the UI is polished. All the stars.
(2024-05-08) Martin,: Like many others, I switched to 1Password from LastPass and I'm glad I did. I love it! I especially like that it includes MFA features for sites that allow for that as well as the easy-to-use app version. Works great!
(2024-05-07) Jay: Lots of good things, but lots of room to improve as well. Overall, I like the UI and reliability. Password sharing on the Family plan is straightforward and easy. 1Password can also fill in passwords for desktop apps, which has come in handy a few times. On the downside, 1Password is not as straightforward to use as LastPass and is missing some key features. To really use 1Password, you have to install a desktop application where the actual functionality resides. This is supposedly a security thing, but is fairly inconvenient and splits the UI between the browser extension and app. Also, 1Password can't enter information in forms from a single keyboard shortcut using a form fill. It also doesn't have a proper emergency access feature in case of death, etc. They also don't have password re-entry for high value entries to hinder snoops of opportunity while unlocked. Password generation is clunky as can't be generated inline for new accounts.

(2024-05-05) Geo.: A year ago I switched from LastPass after it got hacked for the 4th time. I did a lot of research on what password manager to go with, and ultimately decided to go with 1Password. It was an excellent choice. The secret key provides another layer of security that other apps do not have. The versions get frequent updates with new features. It is easy to use. It is also great for personal IDs, documents, etc.
