Messenger™ in Extension (Facebook™ Messenger) is the easiest way to open and use Messenger from your desktop machine (PC, MAC or Linux). Clicking on the toolbar button, renders Messenger in a standalone UI. Moreover, the window is re-sizable to your desired choice and the changes are auto saved to the memory. Note, to start using this App, you need to have a Facebook account.
Important Note: Messenger™ in Extension does NOT belong or related to the official Facebook/Messenger website or application in any ways. It is an unofficial app that is developed and maintained independently.

- Looks like this extension is about to stop working. Soon, you'll be redirected to Facebook.com/messages. Messenger.com won't be available after 15 April 2026, but you can continue your conversations on the mobile app and on Facebook.

- Work as intended, although a minor graphic issue but the functionality and performance of the app is great. Definitely recommended to those who wanted to use Messenger PWA but no Microsoft Store and Edge installed in their System. This extension is probably the better option you'll get.

- Works perfectly. Couldn't ask for more. Can't comment on previous version because I never knew about it much less used it. It's a PWA and works like one should. Thank you for doing this properly!

- works perfectly fine. Now I dont have to have FB open on my work computer, and since I set up dual authentication and a PIN I didnt have to risk using my password to get into it.

- Doesn't work. No instructions to help. Deleted extension thinking its just a scam to get password!
