• (2025-05-19) Jqeger MV: For a few days it worked fine but I attempt to try it again and it says a message along the lines of "We're having some difficulties" and the message is constant, sometimes it stays loading with no result. My review is not to purposedly leave a bad review because when it isn't doing this it is a wonder. I hope it gets fixed one day and thank you for the service provided.

• (2024-07-07) HS Hariprasad: This is a nice extension that does a very good job in summarizing youtube videos. I watched a podcast and noted some key takeaways myself. Then I used this extension to figure out is this good enough to point all that out! The result was it did give some of them. The reason why I'm giving 4 star is because the response in summary in bullet points were exactly same. I expected the key takeaways had even more concise and important points about real-estate (as the podcast was about Real-Estate) while that was not the case. Overall the extension is nice. I expect the developers to train the model even better to figure out and grab the valid and most important points in takeaways of a particular video.

I really love that it opens in a new page, that is clean and easy to work with. I can see the Summary, and the transcription in one place, while still being able to get Key Take-aways and of course a Summary with bullet points that, for me, help me learn faster. No more waiting to watch a 32 minute video and wondering when the good nuggets of the video show up. Thank you Syllaby.

• (2023-12-10) Austin Armstrong: A Really useful YouTube summarizer tool! Rather than watching entire YouTube videos, I just used this tool to get a summary of each video and key takeaways. It's like Sparknotes for Youtube! Love it. Completely free, no ChatGPT account even needed.
• (2023-12-10) Ray Piercy: This is absolutely an incredible app. It summarized an 11.5 hour youtube video course for me in roughly 1 minute and then popped it into a new tab for me. I was able to then put that summary into a bullet point format or see the key takeaways. I've been debating watching this video all the way through because it is an entire course on a subject I'm interested in but i have been hesitant to actually dive into it in case it is a waste of time. After the summary and key takeaways I now feel comfortable in investing the time to watch the video. I see massive potential in utilizing this tool to summarize videos and see competitors key takeaways so you can then modify and create your own videos. Or plug those bullet points or key takeaways into AI like ChatGPT or Syllaby.io and have it create a new video prompt for you.
