Doesn't work with my new philips smart TV or with chromecast. Worked very well with my old samsung TV so it's really a shame I can' t use it anymore.

It works perfectly, IDK why everybody's giving it 3 stars for minor glitches or feature requests.

it cannot play live content(((

It's a very good extension for playing local content or pre-recorded online content such as a music video. I couldn't give it a 5 star rating because it cannot play live content, for example a live stream on youtube (news broadcast etc...).

I did not encounter any show stoppers, but I could not give it a higher rating. It is adequate to find a file and send it. I easily found out how to "push" content to my Samsung TV from a Chromebook, but I expected this app to function as a DLNA server, allowing me to navigate local files from the TV. This may be a limitation of the Chromebook? Shortcomings: - allowed me to select a .MOV video from local files, but did not load it - I could not find a way remove items from the play list - No slideshow ability - some images are displayed in the wrong orientation, although this is a very widespread issue in many image rendering apps.

Nice !

The app works great with my Smart TV. In my case the firewall port needed to be configured manually, but other than that the app is OK.

Useful extension. I use it to cast music on my Chromebook or on a NAS to a Sony DLNA device. I would appreciate the possibility to also chose a DLNA server on my network as the source for the music.

No matter what website or video I choose, this does not play on my detected tv. simply does not work.

This is pretty cool, thanks. Straightforward UI without unnecessary cruft. One small issue - when changing volume my remote player jumps around in volume as if it's reacting to too many volume change requests, but it eventually catches up. Maybe put the volume change events on a short (500ms?) timer so that not too many requests are sent to the device. Other than that, this is just what I was looking for.
