I want to change the shape of the highlight though. for example instead of a circle, I think a square would be better. and I would also like to change the opacity of the circle to readd through it when it's over text. GREAT EXTENSION!

Daniel Milan 2022-11-27: It can be a little difficult to get it to work at first, but what I found worked was just changing the colour of the cursor and it then reloads the page with it working. After that, I have had no issues with it whatsoever and I definitely think it is the best cursor for chrome. If changing the colour doesn't work, go in to manage extensions, turn it off and back on again, and then try changing the colour again. I also had trouble getting it to be black (0,0,0) but even a slight deviation (e.g., 0,0,1) and it worked. So all-in-all it is not flawless, but it really does work.

Anthony Painter 2022-01-05: Works a treat We use it for screen casting, loom videos to highlight cursor movements (not surprisingly). As long as you enable the extension before use, refresh your browser, it works without fault.

Renan LC 2021-12-13: Works fine, ideal for screencast. You can allow it on some websites only in the generic chrome extensions options, something like "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit". Would be nice to have an optional sound effect on click.

Mahnoor Cheema 2021-08-16: This extension doesn't work for me. Everything is enabled and it's SUPPOSED to be compatible with my device yet no rings appear around the cursor. It also doesn't change from the default color setting no matter how many times I click on the other options. Maybe it's a bug? Oh well.
