  • (2025-01-09) Brian Anderson: download and you'd expect something to happen. absolutely nothing at all. was recommended by someone at Chromebook support. i'm not surprised nothing happened. like most wifi connectivity problems with a Chromebook the standard response is to blame something else. the person who recommended this was very adamant that the issues lie with the router. hopefully one day what appears to be a pretty large problem w Chromebooks...disconnect from internet, any wifi, any router, any connection while it's only the chromebook that disconnects. yeah right, chromebook is the only thing to disconnect from many networks, many routers, many hotspots but it's the other network, other router or other hotspot and this nothing of an app was to help with a problem that is really chromebook enthusiasts don't want to admit that the problem lies w the chromebook.
  • (2024-11-30) Lindsay Adam: I downloaded it and nothing happened. How do I launch the diagnostic?
  • (2024-08-20) Mark Harris: I, WITH a computer tech, my best friend, could NOT find out, THRU this diagnostics, WHY my laptop would not connect to a certain Coffee Bean's wifI in L.A. BUT had NO PROBS (thus, not my device) up the street at a Starvbux, no matter WHAT he tried to do. And, AND, all around me, months, 7 years at SAME venue, no one else was having ANY probs ! I was each day eventually able to log on there, but was sick of umpteen attempts to when we went to THIS diagnostics..........failure. Go figure !!
  • (2024-03-01) Donald Rohrbacher: OK. Evcery time i start this app it crashes. Everything up to date. Acer CP514-1H, Ryzen 5, AMD Raden Graphics, 8MBs.
  • (2023-09-07) James LaBarre: This tool tells me "oh, everything is just fine on your system", including that it can connect to my gateway. Which is funny, because the reason I even used the tool was because ChromeOS Diagnostics was telling me it *can't* connect to my gateway. Seems Google can't figure out a straight answer even between two of their OWN applications. This utility is about as useless as Google themselves.
  • (2022-09-03) Kekyoin: Terrible app. Works when I'm connected by ethernet, obviously, but it doesn't tell me whats wrong with my wireless connection. Just tells me I'm not connected to the network. I don't need an app to tell me that.
  • (2022-08-17) Christian Samu: It taught me A LOT about the Internet! When the old Chromebook version was updated, I couldn't use it anymore, it was missing a lot of info when it finished the diagnosis. It would just tell you "Passed" or "Failed" or "Not Run" but it would never tell you why. But this one is GREAT! My favorite extension.
  • (2022-05-14) Joe Baker: Useless. Makes up results.

  • (2020-01-05) _Lunar: So i used this product when i had connectivity issues with http captive portal port 80 and port 443 this really helps but it doesn't tell me how to fix the issues
  • (2018-11-08) David Null: Diagnosis OK BUT I have frequent signal dropping and it did not help with that. IF FACT, NO ONE AR GOOGLE SEEMS TO WANT TO HELP.

  • (2017-11-26) Dianne O'Hara: Works fine for me. Thanks so much.
  • (2017-10-28) Taylor Miller: Sad that it won't work in the Incognito mode of the browser.
  • (2017-09-27) Cassandra Noorman: Totally dishonest. If I physically unplug my router is says the DNS is down but internet is still connected. Sometimes when the router crashes it accuses my network of being a captive Portal which it blatantly isn't. It just makes up garbage for people who want to pretent to fix their internet until it comes back naturally.
  • (2017-09-25) Игорь Мусатов: ok

  • (2016-08-09) kathleen DeV. L.: Am going to use it now. Am having problems with my hangout logging in on the launch.
  • (2016-07-31) Good if you are having problems. Doesn't support security to see who is on the network.
  • (2016-07-13) Matt: Pretty good. I wish the details were shown real-time, instead of making me look at a progress bar.

  • (2016-03-28) L: Too limited in functionality to be useful
  • (2016-03-17) Aminadab Pineda: Useful
  • (2016-03-15) Robin Cross: Well my Chromebook is operating normally and that is what this app says. If there was a problem this might be a nifty tool to help troubleshoot the problem.

  • (2016-02-21) Saaruuku “Saaruu Lioness” Lioness: Awesome in one word!
  • (2016-02-10) Daniel Simpson: My Maxthon never fully opens it just sits busy and the weather app never loads, I added your app to fix it, it showed everything is working properly, that was evidently a lie, I was using the Linux stable version then switched to the beta version and get the same exact result, it's bad enough maxthon is too lazy to fix their own browser but now even the tools to fix it does not work.
  • (2016-02-01) Anthony Sinatra: There's lots of good information there. However I would love if there was more Wireless Connection information. I'd love to know if I'm connecting Wireless G, N or A/C on some networks and the connection speed.
  • (2015-12-30) Frank Mcoy: I guess its ok, it dont seem to fix any thing! or if it does I cant see any diference
  • (2015-11-25) VIJAYA GOPALAN NAIR: very useful
  • (2015-10-01) Roger Liu: Great tool for the basic network administrator to check WiFi connection to the network. This tool is not for the daily users because the GUI and network reporting are technical, only for the Tech Savy.
  • (2015-09-27) Jay Tyler: Great for chromebooks!
  • (2015-09-13) John Sater: This is a go-to tool for network troubleshooting. A chrome app of the highest quality. However, if I get another "Hangouts connectivity partially degraded" on more time....
